HOW KYA LOOKS LIKE >>>>>>>>
Loud screams along with the sound of clashing swords could be heard from outside of the Kashima family's humble home. Moonlight was streaming inside through a small window, lighting Kya's bedroom. She hugged her knees tightly as she stared blankly at the door. She was breathing so fast, and her head felt like it was going to explode. Kya knew exactly what was happening now; it was a war between the people of her clan and outsiders who came from the village of sound. They were searching for the first piece of the stone that could unlock a mighty beast that could grant immortality.
Kya didn't understand at all why those outsiders wanted it nor did she know if her clan even has what they're looking for. The thought of so many people in her clan dying made her blood run cold with fear and grief. Kya felt completely useless, for she wasn't allowed to fight, she was strictly instructed to stay at her room the whole time. All she could really do left was stay locked up in her room and wait for daylight to come.
At first she didn't understand why, she was the best young female fighter in her clan and she also have her kekei genkai which gives her this special ability to see everything even from a mile away. It is called Surushiyoku. She also trained hard every day with the best fighters in her clan. Kya understood that she was the offspring from the head family in her clan and they needed to protect her, but she hated the fact that she won't be able to help or fight for the sake of her clan.
"Kya!" Her mother, Asuka, called loudly. Kya quickly got out of her bed and went to the place where the voice came from. Kya walked to her mother, asking what's wrong. Asuka just simply folded a finished letter, sealing it with a kiss before placing it inside a small back pack and handing it over to her daughter.
"Listen to me closely, Kya, and heed my words." She said. "You must leave this place immediately and never look back. You shall go through the secret passage beneath this house, and then go directly to the nearest village to find help." She commanded her daughter. Kya heard Asuka's key turn and click in the latch before she opened the door to the secret passage.
"Mother, but why? I can't leave you and father here at a time like this!" Kya argued.
"Everything is explained in the letter I've put in your backpack, Kya." Her mother replied in a worried voice. Kya studied her mother's face.
"You've been crying...weren't you?" She said wistfully and gazed upward, meeting her father's ocean blue eyes. "What's happening? Is the clan actually...losing?"
"Everything is going to be alright, child. Now listen to your mother and go." Her father, Reiko ordered, trying to sound serious but his voice cracked a little.
"This is my home." She said sadly, sounding like a small child. "I don't want to go anywhere else, I'm nothing but a coward if I run away like this, and I don't want to leave all the people I've spent my whole life with, who's now they're risking their whole lives for the sake of the clan!" She protested. Kya saw the determination and the pain the decision has 'caused her parents. Kya knew the decision was final and there's nothing she could do to change their minds.
She dropped to her knees. "Please...mother...father." Tears were falling freely from her eyes as she clenched her fists. "I will never live with myself knowing that I've left you all at this kind of situation. I can fight, I can still help the clan, I--" She cut herself short as Asuka caressed her daughter's face. Kya squeezed her backpack close to her chest and closed her eyes.
