Ryan P.O.V.
I'm about to close the gap when suddenly... Jake closes it for me. I'm shocked at first. I'm kissing my best friend. Thoughts run through my head as I slowly start to kiss back, savoring the moments of bliss. Suddenly, Jake pulls away. I cautiously look at him, worried. "What did we just do?" Jake asked. "We kissed," I responded in my calmest voice possible. Jake was shocked at the fact, even though he had been the one to kiss me. He kissed me. "Can you leave the room for a minute? I need some time to think," Jake mumbles. I nod a quick yes and give him some alone time.
Jake P.O.V.
I just kissed my best friend. What the hell is wrong with me? I grab my hair and start rocking back and forth on the uncomfortable plastic bed. The door opens and I quickly pull myself together. I was about to say a witty remark when I saw who had walked into my room. I sat, awestruck, until I mustered up the courage to talk. "How did you find me?" I asked in a barely audible voice. The man moved closer. "Shut up fag. It's time to go home," he said in a voice all too familiar. This man, was my father.
