A/N Hey guys, this is my first ever story. So please don't be hard on me, I hope you can enjoy my writing.
Also, I'm from Holland so my English may sometimes be a little bad, but I try my best. Let me know what you think and enjoy!
Emma's POV
"Not now, Lisa, I have to get to work." I give my little sister a kiss on her head. "Mom, I'm going!"
It's nice outside, sucks that I have to go work on such a beautiful day. Oh well, it's only for two hours. I unlock my bike outside of the frontyard and go on the two-minute drive to the supermarket I work at.
At the crossroad in my town I notice that there is a big bus behind me. It looks like some sort of tourbus. I have to go left and the bus is only slowly moving straight forward. If I cross now, I'll be dead. So I wait.
As it slowly passes me, I notice a blonde boy looking out of the vehicles window. I can only see his hair and the white plain shirt he wears. This is so weird, he somehow reminds me of Cody Simpson.
I like that kid a lot. Really talented and his music sounds cool. The position of his head looks like he is staring at me. Me! But this is crazy, I'm sure it's not Cody. Only yesterday I saw a picture he posted on Instagram of his show in Belgium. He couldn't be in Holland then already, could he?
Two hours later I'm outside again and done working. It went quite well today, stocking shelves isn't that hard. Still, I was non-stop thinking about the bus and the blonde boy on it. If only the shadow hadn't covered up his face!
Cody's POV
"You don't understand, Alli. Holland truly is gorgeous! Just because it's flatter than other countries doesn't mean it ain't a nice country..." Man, Alli definitely ain't in a good mood today. "Plus, it's not even raining now, and that's good luck."
A little frustrated by her bad mood, I turn around and look out of the window for a while. We drive through a small town. Ah well, I'm being told this is a normal-sized city for Holland. There's not much more to see than normal people walking to their jobs and the centre of town. I really like all those bikes out in Holland. There's not a place where I have seen them so much.
I notice a girl on a bike on the bicycle path next to our bus driving before us. Brown hair in a bun with only a few locks hanging out, framing her face that I did not see yet. She is wearing long skinnies and a wide shirt tucked in. Something about her charms me, even though I haven't even seen her face.
That changes when she looks behind. Apparently, she wants to turn left, but she has to wait for the bus to pass. Perfect chance for me to see her properly. As we pass her I can see that she has a perfectly tanned face with brown eyes and long eyelashes and heart shaped lips. She looks so unbelievably beautiful.
My heart raises when she looks up to the window which I am sitting behind. Can she see me? Sure, the windows are quite dark but still... She and I keep looking for as long as we can, and then my bus is past her and she can cross the road, and she's out of sight.
I keep sitting in the same position, looking outside. But in fact I do not really see anything, except for her. What would she be like?
