As expected, she joined us at the request of Matt and Mark. My desire to leave became more and more visible. At least Matt and Ryan noticed my mood: my hands were dancing here and there, my nails echoed against the glass table... The three of us realized that Serah's interest was set in Mark. Of course, Mark as usual, was not aware of those things. Every time we tried to say something to one of the two, Serah made any noise to interrupt us.

With that kind of people, I have very little patience so; I took some money from my pocket to pay the food, I gave a slap on the table and I left without saying anything. I think nobody followed me so I felt surprised. That annoyed me even more. Not even Mark was concerned about the fact that I left angry? My mood went down sharply by having to think about those things. In the end, my steps made me get to the entrance of a park. It looked cozy and as I did not plan to go back home, I decided to go and walked around for a while. It was a good time and also I like animals.

I wish I could have had a dog or a cat when I was little but my parents had never let me have one. I had only a rabbit, a hamster and two fishes. If I'd had one dog, maybe I would be out of my house more time in the past but it didn't matter. As I sat on a bench I could not stop thinking about Mark and all what I had caused in the pizzeria. It was not my fault. It was because of that person and her irritating. Finally, I leaned forward to rest my head in my hands, lamenting for what I was thinking and the way that I was acting.

When I was lost in my thoughts, I felt a few quick steps toward me and, then, some animal noises right under my face. Gradually, I was half opening my eyes to see in front of me a dog wagging it tail from side to side. It seemed worried about me so slowly I ran my hand over her head reassuringly. Quickly, he lifted up his ears and began to jump from side to side. A smile formed on my face as he kept his eyes. That dog meke me cheer me up. "Cali, where are you?" In the middle of nowhere, a voice of a boy resounded behind me, which made me turn around. The dog immediately took a couple of barking to indicate where it was. At that moment a tall, blond and blue eyes guy walked over to where the dog, which was called Cali, was.

"Sorry if my dog upset you. It's a runt. Really, I apologies." As fast as I could, I shook my hands and my head. Of course nothing happened, at least Cali had reassured me and had made me think of something else. As soon as he could, he lifted his face and noticed me. Soon the presentations began and I know which was the name of that tall guy: Joseph Fredrick. I had no place to go so I just spent my time in the park with that boy. Mark would be fine with... with that person. When I started to think about such things, I had a nervous tic: I mess with my fingers. The boy in front of me seemed to understand that I was concerned about something so, wordlessly he handed me a paper with his number on it. It was like a board of a company that I did not know. After seeing him, he spoke: "If you need anything, take a walk or talk, just call me, okay? I live near here, so..." Without another word, he turned to say goodbye to me and again walk away from the park. For a second, when I saw that boy disappear, I was stunned: What just happened? And, most importantly, how I was done with a phone number of a guy?

The sun was beginning to descend and, according to my watch, it was already about six. I had to return to Mark's house or I would be out of doors. When night came, the cold became more noticeable, so while walking, I ran my hands by the arms to get warm. When I got to the door of the house, I took a deep breath for the possible talk that could «attack» me. I knocked on the door and waited for it opened. The face I found in front me was a worried Mark: he had the phone to his ear but he separated it when he saw me. "Where were you? We all have worried." Even a little angry, I walked with downcast head, apologetically. He had acted badly. From nothing I had ceased to exist.

Soon, Mark took the phone again and called our two companions from today, he must report that I was back at home. I guess I mad everyone feel afraid if something would happened to me. I left the small hallway and reached the hall where the door of my room was closer. At that time, the anger returned to my body. She was there, sitting on the couch and drinking coffee. Serah was there. She saw me with a cynical smile to greeted me: "You should not do that, we were preocupated, dear." I clenched my jaw and, without a word, I walked into my room; decided to stay there for some time. At least, until she was not there.

From my room, I heard Mark surprised by the fact that I locked me up and when, I thought the he was going to call to my door, Serah approached him explaining that I had done that because I was feeling ill. I hate her so much! As a solution to my headache I think that I could lie in bed with my headphones on my ears. At least, that would make me more comfortable. I looked for my headphones in my pockets but then, the card that the blonde boy gave me, fell to the floor. I had to bend down to take it. I watched it for a moment and remembered the boy. "He was handsome..." I said to myself. At that time I analyzed my words. What I said?

I got up and shook my head from side to side. I did not know what was going on. I looked at the card one more time remembering the face of that person. I supported that little card on the table in front of the bed, surprised by my actions. For the first time I was not thinking only in Mark.

Since I met Joey (that's how he told me to call him), everything went much quieter in my life: Whenever Serah brought suddenly to "disturb" my quiet moments with Mark, I took the opportunity to ask my new partner if he wanted to stay with me. He was a sports fan so it was also a good way to keep fit. If neither work, we also used to go out together. The truth is that he soon became one of the persons with whom was forging new memories. All this was to occur over several months of spring, while the friendship that existed between J-Fred and I grew.

During a summer afternoon, it could not be different from the others, saying nothing, I took the keys and left Mark's house. As it was quite hot, because the summer was already at hand, I just got dressed some black leggings and a long shirt, as worn basketball players use. Briskly, I went to J-Fred brother's house, where we went a lot of times. I never met his brother so I didn't know him but, that afternoon were going to be interesting... Once arrived at his home, a different world would surround me.

I knocked on the door as I often did, and this time, Amanda was the one who opened the door. I had met her a couple of times and knew some things because it was the sister in law of J-Fred. She was very friendly and even affectionate, I fell great. I entered the house and my gaze search for the person would be my companion for this evening but, I found two other guys talking to him. For a second I felt embarrassed but Amanda caught the attention of J-Fred, who turned and approached me cheerful. "I feel not having presented before but... This is my brother and Bryan, my sister's husband." At that time, when I saw who was the brother of J-Fred, I took one of my hands to the face. "You... you are... Matthias!" I had seen several times in the videos of Mark so, he was surprised. Quickly, I explained why I knew him, the reason for why I was staying in California, with whom I was living... finally everything became clear.

"Wait but then if you are living with Mark... Where is he?" Bryan's voice sounded amid the tranquility and the sound of a door call our attention. Again, Amanda opened the door to give way to the man with red hair. Her surprise was evident when he saw J-Fred at my side, with his hands on my shoulders. "You could have come with her, Mark. Luckily we needed one more contestant for the challenges." Matthias said. I was going to work with them in a video? The situation became quite intense and I even felt some pressure.

It was my idea or ... J-Fred was more defensive since Mark entered?

Matthias as always, introduced the video and presented us (both, Mark and me). I still did not know what the challenge today was but I would participate equally. To start the game before we had to make teams of two. Amanda played so we were six. "Ready? Rock-paper-scissors."

I did not know what to choose, but my first thought was to get ...
