Since the incident, the school had been shutdown. You know the incident right? Oh, I don't think they know the whole incident, Jennifer. After the lights went out, and their were screams heard down the hall, no one ever heard of any of those kids again. The staff was never heard from again. The children had never been found, all except for Jennifer. You never really learned the reason for Jennifer's scarf did you? Oh, I don't think you can handle it! Should today's story be about Jennifer's scarf? Are they ready Jennifer? She thinks you're ready. Read on, if you dare.

Jennifer was born normal. A healthy baby girl. Well, at least they thought she was normal. Her mother looked into her little brown eyes. At first, there was nothing wrong. Her mother was fine. But then, the lights started to flicker, and then they went off. The monitor was going crazy, and then silent. The lights cane back on, the baby still in her mother's arms. The machine rebooted, but it flatlined. The whole hospital was quiet, as if they were the only ones there. The doctors tried as hard as they could to get the mother to live, but their efforts were worthless. They took Jennifer and placed her in the nursery. When the nurses came back, the father was gone. He refused to take a "demon child" with him.

By the age of four, Jennifer was able to find an animal, skin it, cook it, and eat it all on her own. Everyone had heard about the incident and refused to take her in. She had forged her way in school. Using her parents' signature and a stranger's social security number. At the age of 7, she decided to take on the personality if a goth. One day, Jennifer had brought a lighter to school for show and tell. She started the lighter, but lost her grip on it. The flame was small, but the pain was prodigious. The flame had caught her entire face, or at least the bottom half. Oddly enough, the blaze would not go out. No matter how many times the teacher poured water on the helpless girl, the fire would not go out. After a while, her face was numb. The blaze went out on its own. Jennifer was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with third degree burns. When the doctors learned that she had no guardian and was not able to pay for their services, they sent her home without treatment. Jennifer found some aloe in an alley and rubbed that on her burns. It stung deeply. Her face was ugly and she was a monster. She didn't want to see her face, and wanted no one else to see it either, so she wrapped her face in a scarf to keep the hideous scars from being seen. Jennifer is 17 now. She goes to East Bowen High. Her first day was on May 6, 2005. She already had enemies, of course. Alexis Bowen was the first. Her father had owned the school, making her the richest child in town. Jennifer HATES blonds. Especially the rich ones. But luckily, Alexis wasn't blond, she was brunette. Jennifer still hated her, only because she was rich. There was one person who appealed to Jennifer. His name was Richard Pinkney. Richard was a jock. The usual, cute and dumb. But, Jennifer saw something in him that turned her on. She lived with her best friend Starfire Johnson. When Jennifer ran home, she grabbed her Devil's Diary. She wrote her message:

Dear Diary,

To love is to destroy. To love Richard, I have to destroy him, or at least harm him severely.

Sincerely,

          Jennifer

The room started to shake. Things fell from the walls, and then, silence. When Starfire felt the shake, she knew it had something to do with Jennifer.

" Is everything okay in there Jenn?"

" Yea." she responded.

A week later, Richard was leaving school in his convertible, when he was struck by an 18 wheeler. He was 16 years old. When everything quieted down, everyone looked at Jennifer. What did you do, was a continuous question in the crowd.

" Jennifer Boston, report to the principal suite."

Jennifer heard her name on the PA system and walked swiftly to the office.

"Tell me how this started." demanded Principal Joseph.

" From the beginning?" Jennifer asked disturbingly.

"Please." responded he.

Jennifer opened her mouth, but words did not come out. Instead, little flying demons came out. The lights flickered and then they shut off. There were screams, and then there was silence.
