I was walking down the street looking at the buildings with a confuse face. Thinking how did I even got here I have never seen this place before. I walked up to a big building I sat down with my back against the wall. I looked up to the sky and tried to count the starts to stay awake but I felt my eyes slowing closing. I woke up with a jolt I look up and saw a dark-skinned man looking down at me. I quickly got up to my feet scared . He looked at me and asked me what is your name? I looked to the ground and didn't answer him. The man told me don't be scared my name is Max what is your name? I looked up at him and answered him my name is Maya. Max smiled at me and asked me Maya what are you doing sleeping here from what faction are you? I looked at Max confuse when he asked me from what faction I was. Max what do you mean from what faction am I don't know what a faction is. Max looked at me with wide eyes and said what do you mean that you don't know what a faction is. I don't know Max I have never seen this place before where am I? Max said we are outside of Dauntless building Maya how old are you? I am 14 years old why? Max looked at me and said why don't we just go inside for now. Sure lets go inside ( I know you may think I am stupid to go inside a building I don't know with a person i dont know but I feel like I can trust him.) That night i was adopted by the leader of Dauntless Max.
