It's been a hard few months for Malia. She called Klaus everyday only to go to voicemail. She kept having bad dreams of murders without him. Malia saw a therapist to try and get over him. "It's like I feel so lost without him. I don't know what to do or where to turn. Like a giant hole is ripped from my heart." "Yes dear, I understand. Have you ever considered taking up new hobbies?"

"Well painting. Wait no not painting. Swimming or tennis possibly. But how would it even help?" "It will take your mind off more and get you active and occupied." Malia nodded. "But I--" "No buts, I want to see you active as much as possible. Make new friends. Not worrying about this Klaus fellow."

Malia nodded and thanked her. She shook the therapists hand and left. "I suppose I have to get into something now," she told herself. There was a wall of flyers on the way out. She picked one up and read it. "Tennis tryouts." She gave a smile and walked to her car. This would be something hopeful.

"I haven't even called Allison or Bella! What kind of person am I?" Malia slammed her fist into the chair. Oops it made a hole. "Hey it's Malia, before you say anything I know. I've been depressed. I need someone to talk to. Do you wanna meet up for coffee, please?"

"Sure, mind if Matthew came?" "Oh really him? The murderer?" "Yes we've actually grown quite close. I know it's kind of crazy, but come on please. Just let him explain." "Ugh fine ok. I'm going to try and get Bella to come. Have you heard from her? I haven't ever since she ran away in the woods months ago." "No it's weird. She never picks up." "Hmm whatever we shall see. Starbucks in ten?" "Yeah sounds great I know exactly where it is. I'll shoot a text to Bella if she wants to join."

"See ya there!"Malia hung up and drove to Starbucks. She parked her car in the perfect spot. Right in front of Starbucks. As she walked in, she noticed nobody was there but her. She ordered a ventee caramel latte and a cake pop. She sat down and looked out the window. Perfectly gloomy day. Allison walked in holding Matthews hand. They smiled. Malia gave a thumbs up.

They ordered and and sat down across from her. "So how have you been Malia? Long time no see!" Allison said. "Crappy. Could be better, but you're here. So it makes it a billion times better. What about you?" "Oh wonderful Matthew and I have just been in love. You should see the mansion sometime." "Oh I bet it's awesome. Anyway I hope Bella's coming. She's probably going through some things." Malia nodded and got up to get her order. Allison did the same.

"I'd like to tell you my story. Of how I have supernatural powers." "Please yes go on," Malia had a sudden interest. "Well when I was a child, I had no idea what was coming. I had no idea what everything meant. My mother was scared. My father took me into this weird institute for the gifted. From there it was all torture. There was a man who poked needles into me and strapped me up. He electrocuted me. I could feel the electricity in my veins. I screamed at the top of my lungs. They didn't seem to care. I became tougher each day. They starved me by the hour."

"Why would they do such a thing?" Matthew hugged her closer. I took a sip of my coffee and relaxed. "Because I was like their experiment. Do you really think they cared? Oh no not at all in fact. As I grew weaker, I saw my whole life pass by me. I was supposed to be the head of Apple someday. Have several kids. A happy husband. But all of it was crushed. It would never happen in that hell hole. They told me they'd let me loose after a year. "I believed them. They really did keep their word. But before they let me go, they shot me up with acid and I whined. It wasn't until I met all of you, that I felt real feelings."

"Oh Ali, I'm so sorry that had to happen to you. We are here now with you. Just remember it's all over. We are happy. Now." Just then a strange figure walked in with a black hoodie. We cringed. The person ordered and sat down next to Malia. "Who are you?" The person took off to hoodie and faced us all. "Bella! What happened to you? Are you ok? What-how?! It's been months. No contact at all," Allison threw her arms up for a hug. She hugged her.

"I've gone through some things. Would you believe it? I'm a witch. Shh watch this." Bella took her drink from the counter and sat back down. She swirled her fingers and the liquid swirled as well. Amazing right? I can't be too long. They're expecting me. I don't even think I was supposed to tell anyone." "Who's expecting you?" Malia asked cocking her head to one side. "The coven. It's so huge. They barely let me free for a bit. I guess my gifts are very useful. I just need training whatever that means."

The lights blew up and the Starbucks guy ran. It became very dark all of a sudden. "What is this?" Matthews red eyes lit up and he bared his fangs. Allisons eyes turned a bright, radioactive, green and she stood in a ready position. Bella had her wand out and hood up. I bared my fangs as well. We heard a voice calling. "You three, come with us. We've been expecting you," a voice called out. Malia have a confused expression and walked into the light. "Are you crazy?!" Matthew followed. Then finally Bella followed into the portal. It turned black and void. The three disappeared with broken glass and papers everywhere in the Starbucks.

Whew! I finally updated! Sorry for the months of delay. Been busy with final school tests and a summer school math program. Well everything is all good so let me know what you thought. I'm gonna make this story even more twisted. Next update should be within a week or two. Maybe I'll even start writing it today. Who knows? Lol.
