Chapter five

So after Cameron left I drove home, and my mom was home.

I walked in the house and went to put my bag in my room. Then I got a snack and took it up to my room. Then I went downstairs and my mom asked,"Honey, what's wrong?" I guess I had one of those expressions on my face. I just said nothing and shrugged it off.

I went back to my room to eat my snack and I did my homework.

I get a text from Cameron saying to open my window. I go over and open my window. Cameron is sitting by his window and his smile lights up when he sees me. I smile back at him and asked him,"So babe what did you want to talk about?" He asks,"Can I come over?" I nod my head yes. And he starts to climb through my window. Once he gets over he hugs me and we go to sit on my bed. I asked him how shooting vines went. He said it went good and he asked me if I wanted to be in a vine, and a YouTube video for his channel. I said sure why not.

We talked some more, and all of a sudden my mom walks in and sees Cameron on my bed. I mean he was just sitting there and we weren't doing anything! She says,"Honey what is this boy doing in here!" I say,"Mom he is 21 he isn't a boy and we were just talking," I try to stay calm. I grab his hand and he starts to rub circles on my hand.

My mom starts to yell at me and I say,"Mom, I'm 18 and in college! You can't control me!" "You live in my house under my roof!" She screams. Then I say,"Not anymore I don't!" Then I scream at her to get out. She leaves and I burst into tears, Cameron comes over and hugs me, he doesn't say anything he just lets me cry on his shoulder. I say,"Cam I don't know what I'm going to do I'm only 18 and I don't have money for a apartment or for a house...." Cameron cuts me off by saying,"Babe I have my own house and if you want we can get a different one if it's to close to your mom's house," I thank him.
