Code Purple

"What do you want to name them?" Philip asked. 

"Miranda and Nina!" Hanna replied.

 The nurses loved it. They were twins and their names were Miranda and Nina. Doctor Michael took the girls to get cleaned off. Philip and Hanna stayed in the sterile hospital room with a giant window. 

All of a sudden, a loud high pitched scream came from down the hall, followed by an alarm and a voice over the loudspeaker saying, "CODE PURPLE! ALL STAFF REPORT TO YOUR STATIONS. I REPEAT, CODE PURPLE!" 

Hanna started to hyperventilate. Philip tried to calm her and compel her that it was not Miranda and Nina that had been abducted.

That was what code purple had meant. A newborn had been taken out of the hospital without being discharged. 

Hanna started to calm down and believe him until one of the nurses, Nina, came into the room, hysterically crying.

"When Doctor Michael took your daughters to get cleaned up, he said he left them alone for a second, and they disappeared. He was the one that told Miranda to call a code purple. Miranda is on the phone with the police now. They should be on their way soon." she explained.

The police searched for the twins for a year, and finally gave up. Hanna and Philip then hired a private investigator to try to help. The private investigator gave up also, after five years. Hanna and Philip went into a deep depression.
