Chapter 8

Rainbow Dash strummed her guitar as she tapped her foot on the floor. She felt Pinkie Pie staring at her, as she began writing the song for the wedding. Rainbow Dash tried to ignore the staring as she sung softly and nodded her head as she made some lyrics up as she grabbed her pencil from her hair and wrote some notes.

Pinkie Pie sighed as she put her head on her palms, "Are you still mad at me Dashie?" Pinkie Pie asked as Rainbow Dash glanced towards her.

"No," The punk responded.

"Then why haven't you talk to me? It's been two days, and all you've been doing was writing your song and going to work." Pinkie Pie stated as Rainbow Dash sighed and put her guitar down.

"Look I'm not mad or angry at you Pinkie, I'm just upset that you called us girlfriends when we're not. You said that this plan was just to get Cheese Sandwich together, not to ruin my dating life. I know that you worry about me, but order for me to be happy I need to find someone who can bring me happiness," Rainbow Dash said as Pinkie Pie frowned and nodded.

"Okay, I understand," Pinkie Pie replied as Rainbow Dash smiled. "Now can we hang out? Because I miss hanging out with you." Pinkie Pie asked as Rainbow Dash felt her heart speeding up as she looked away, not to show her red face.

"Sure," Rainbow Dash replied as Pinkie Pie cheered.

Rainbow Dash let out a large breathe as Pinkie Pie ran out the room to change. She placed her hand on her forehead and grabbed her guitar. She put it inside the case and placed her song in there, she locked it up and walked back to her bedroom. Rainbow Dash sat it on her bed as she opened her closet. She pulled out a black tank top with faded words and she slipped on her black skinny jeans.

She walked out and saw Pinkie Pie was standing next to the door on her phone, taking pictures. Rainbow Dash chuckled as she grabbed her keys and put her hair in a ponytail and saw Pinkie Pie was smiling as she walked out the front door. She shut off the lights as she walked out the house, locked the door, as she made her way towards her car.

She started the car as the radio played her Zayn Malik cd, from yesterday, and she nodded along with the song 'Wrong', as she pulled out the driveway. Pinkie Pie raised her eyebrow as she looked towards the punk. She was singing along as the windows was down, wind blew in the car as the radio blasted the song.

Pinkie Pie giggled as she smiled at punk. They pulled up at the park, as they sat there in the now turned off car. Pinkie Pie looked towards Rainbow Dash as Rainbow Dash smirked at the park. Rainbow Dash felt her child side coming out as she looked towards Pinkie Pie.

"Race ya!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she unbuckled her seatbelt and ran out the car.

Pinkie Pie giggled as she done the same the two females ran out towards the park. Rainbow Dash jumped on the swings and began to swing back and forth as Pinkie Pie sat next to her as Rainbow Dash laughed. The two began to swing high, and tried to see who could swing the highest. Which Rainbow Dash won, because she was always the sporty one in the group.

The two females began to relive their childhood, such as playing on the swings or getting on the slide. They played tag and even played hide and go seek. Just reliving their childhood as if their life depended on it. Rainbow Dash felt at peace as they ran around, or playing the most childish games. They sighed as they sat on the roof of Rainbow Dash's car, and leaned back.

"I didn't think that you would be so childish," Pinkie Pie said with smiled as Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes.

"Why didn't you think that? I've been hanging out with you, and besides my mom gotten married again so I need to be childish for my step-sister," Rainbow Dash replied as Pinkie Pie looked towards her.

"You have a step-sister?" The pink haired girl asked as Rainbow Dash nodded.

"Yup, you know Scootaloo?" Rainbow Dash asked as Pinkie Pie widened her eyes and hit Rainbow Dash on the stomach.

"The skater girl?" She asked as Rainbow Dash nodded. "No way! I mean I guess I can see it now, but wow. You mom got married again? I would've thought to be honest," Pinkie Pie said as she leaned back as Rainbow Dash shrugged her shoulders.

"Eh, she told me that she fell in love again." Rainbow Dash replied as Pinkie Pie looked over towards Rainbow Dash.

Pinkie Pie raised her eyebrow as she chewed on her bottom lip. "Are You mad about that?" Pinkie Pie asked, since Rainbow Dash and her father was always close, until their parents gotten divorced.

"Nah, if my moms happy then what's the problem?" Rainbow Dash asked as Pinkie Pie shrugged her shoulders.

"I dunno, I just thought you would be upset because your mom and dad seemed to be in love, you know. Like real love." Pinkie Pie replied as Rainbow Dash sighed and looked towards Pinkie Pie.

"After he cheated on her? With her sister, I don't think that was love. Besides, my dad and my aunt are getting married and they already have a kid. So I think it was a good thing that my mom has moved on," Rainbow Dash said as Pinkie Pie frowned and shrugged her shoulders.

"Do you believe in love Dashie?" Pinkie Pie asked as Rainbow Dash widened her eyes and felt her heart beat began to speed up.

The two girls looked at each other, waiting for the punks answer. Put how was Rainbow Dash going to answer? 'Yes, I believe in love because I've been in love with you since middle school. So please be my girlfriend so we can get married have kids and grow old together then die so we can be buried next to each other!'. Rainbow Dash gulped as she shrugged her shoulders and looked towards the sky, as she felt her face turn red.

"Yeah, I guess I do. But if you only fall for the right person," Rainbow Dash replied as Pinkie PIe nodded.

"Have you ever been in love?" Pinkie Pie asked.
