Seungcheol wasn't close to Jeonghan, except when no one else wanted to be partners with either of them during a class project.
Because Seongcheol looked too intimidating.
And because Jeonghan looked too. . .weird.
Everyone found reasons to make fun of the boy, because he was seemed 'too' feminine for boys his age, or because his voice was too soft.
Jeonghan never paid them any mind until verbal abuse turned physical.
It was one day that Jeonghan missed first period, which he never did because he was an honor roll/perfect attendece student.
They thought he wasn't there, but he was. He was seconds away from ridding them of his existence, thinking he was doing them a favor when Seungcheol stopped him.
