Chapter 1- What The Hell

Alessa's p.o.v:

I stood in the kitchen with my sister Emma arguing about the way her boyfriend twists his fingers whenever he talks.

"No he does not do it!" She said.

"OH YES HE DOES!" if you didn't know yet I'm kind of loud.

"Oh stop now before the luna and mom come." She says.

You see,mom and the luna of black blood pack are friends. I don't exactly know how they met. I wasn't listening well when she explained that. But I remember a mix of meeting in a forest,helping and blah blah blah who knows.

Anyways, my sister and I are good cookers so mom wanted to show our skills to the luna. And here we are doing the dinner instead of the other pack members doing that. Why did she get us involved in this? I just wanna go home and sleep.

We're almost done. It's just a dinner with the luna, her alpha son and us. We set the table as Emma tries to reach for the glass cups put on the top shelf. She climbs on the counter and gets them. While she was doing that, someone busted through the door. Telling you about my sister she's very jumpy. So of course, she dropped all the cups on the ground.

Glass shattered everywhere with an annoying sound. Our eyes widened and we turned to look at the person. Couldn't he at least be gentle. The door was gonna break for christ's sake. But then I remembered mom's description of the alpha. Tall, black hair, brown eyes, handsome. The guy fitted mom's description perfectly.

Holy macaronis!!?? Is that the bloody alpha??? We continued to stare at him as he raised an eyebrow at my sister. He didn't notice me yet.

"Well,I know I'm hot but not that much to freeze a girl." He said laughing alittle. I felt butterflies invade my stomach. Is it finally...... mate???

His eyes then wandered and locked right onto mine. His eyes widened then turned black.

"Mate." He growled.

He walked forward which caused me to step back. We continued like this until I hit the counter. He stayed walking until he was right infront of me. My devil sister smiled then exited the kitchen leaving me alone with my mate.

He put his hand on my cheek his finger tracing my bone. He snuggled his face in my neck.

"What's your name,beautiful mate?" He asked, his breath on my neck making me shiver.

"Alessa. What's yours?" I asked back.

"Not important right now." He said. "so decided. This won't be boring. Sitting right next to you and all. And we're gonna tell your mother that you're living with us. Now see you later mate." And with he walked right out.

My sister came right after. She squeeled.

" I can't believe you're mate is the alpha! And you finally found! I mean a year is long enough." She said excited.

"He wants me to live with him." I said.

"Of course you're gonna live with him. I mean do you know how possesive alpha males are? They won't let their mate far away from them after meeting them." She said. What the hell??? Why is she calm????

"I DON'T WANNA GO. I'LL MISS YOU TOO MUCH." I shouted.

"Hey! Don't shout. I'll miss you too but I'm sure he's gonna let you visit." She said soothingly.

I sighed and cleaned up the mess while she set the table. She called them and we sat down. The luna was impressed and complimented our food as delicious. Alpha sat beside me. We were eating when I felt a hand on my thigh. I looked at alpha and he smiled at me then opened his mouth.

"So ms. Emerson I wanted to tell you. We discovered we're mates." He said .

Mom put her fork down and picked a napkin and wiped her mouth.

"Oh really?? Well, that's great news she could sleep here and tomorrow we get her stuff moved." Why is everyone not affected that I'm not going to be around anymore.

Mom might not care that much but I mean Emma is my best friend. WHY IS SHE CALM??? I look up at her. She's looking down at the table with teary eyes. That calmed me down. Not that she's sad. That me leaving does bother her. She does care.

"Ok then we have to go now. It's getting pretty late." Mom said getting up.

My sister got up too. They both kissed me and went back home.... without me.

I stood looking at the door with teary eyes. He came from behind me and hugged me. He kissed me on the cheek.

"Please don't cry." He whispered.

I turned around and hugged him. I know I don't know him well but I needed comfort.

He led me to a room. It had dark blue walls and a blue bed. The other things were either bright blue or blue. He gave me boxers and some shirt and told me to change in the closet.

When I came back he was already in bed. I went and climbed onto the bed. After all, he's my mate he wouldn't do anything. I tuend to the left side my back facing him. He hugged me from behind and snuggled his head into my neck. And with that, I felt darkness consume me.
