{Niall's POV}
I sighed getting out of bed the next morning. I'm scared about how today is going to turn out. Harry and I don't normally talk during school but I get the feeling we're going to need to more than usual. It kills me enough to have to hide our relationship but I know Harry isnt ready and I'm not going to force him to come out just for me.
I walked into the bathroom taking a quick shower. After my shower I quickly got dressed and soon I was on my way down the steps.
"Niall" I heard my mums voice call from the living room
"Yeah mum" I said walking into the living room
"Your father called"
"Oh god. Did another check bounce or something" I snapped
"No honey nothing like that. Your father has gotten better with that but he called because he wants you to come visit him soon"
"What! Hell no" I yelled
"Niall! Watch your mouth"
"I'm sorry mum but me and dad aren't on good terms. Haven't been since he left us to be with...."
"That's enough!" my mum yelled cutting me off. "He is still your father and if he wants to be in your life he's going to be"
"So your just gonna ship me off to Texas because my dick of a father has decided that he has a son now! No" I yell back'
"Go to school and we can talk about this later when you get home" she sighed
"There's nothing to talk about" I said walking out of the living room and out the door.
I don't want to go all the way to Texas just to see someone who could give to shits about his family. He left when I was younger. Then got remarried and moved all the way to Texas. I hate him for hurting my mum like he had. She was so torn up about him leaving us and it just made me hate more than I already had.
I watched my feet as I walked and soon enough I was on school grounds. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and started to text Harry.
My mum wants me to go see my dad ~ Me
I walked up the school steps with my head down as I walked into the school. As I neared my locker I felt my phone buzz and I grabbed it.
IN TEXAS!?! No ~Harry
That's what I said but my mum wont listen to me ~ Me
Shit... I'm close to school I'll see you soon ~ Harry
I put my bag in the locker shutting it and looked around seeing if anyone else had come. As I turned around I came face to face with Josh making me jump back a bit.
"Hey Niall" he smiled
"Hi Josh"
"How have you been?"
"I've been pretty good. How about you"
"Everything's been pretty boring. Searching for colleges and everything" he shrugged
"Yeah I know how that feels. I'm still not sure where I want to go. There's to many options" I said as we started making our way down the hall. He nodded opening the door for me letting me into the classroom. I sat down in my normal seat in the back and Josh sat next to me. I don't have a problem with Josh. I like him and he's very nice to me but Harry.....he doesn't like him very much.
"So where's your boyfriend?" Josh chuckled thinking he was making a joke. If only he knew....
"He's not my boyfriend. We've gone over this many times" I said sending him a fake glare.
"He sure seems like your boyfriend. A little bit over protective don't you think?"
"I don't know" I sighed
"Well since he's not your boyfriend and all why don't I take you out later" he asked
Oh no....
"Um I cant. I have to talk to my mum about some stupid shit after school" I sighed hopefully changing the topic.
"Like what?"
Success!!
"She wants me to go and visit my father. He lives all the way in Texas"
"Wow....that's really far away Ni" Josh frowned
"Thanks for pointing that out" I chuckled
"I mean it is! That's insane"
"Tell me about it. I just....."
Halfway through my sentence I see Harry walk into the room and our eyes meet. I gulped a bit as his gaze left me and turned to Josh was now looking at him. Well this is wonderful. Harry didn't say anything or come over like I thought he would. He just went to his seat and sat down.
"I see you tamed lover boy" Josh chuckled
"Yeah...." I said looking down at my notebook.
As class ended I walked out of class hearing yet again my cell ring. I grabbed it and much to my surprise it was my mum.
"Hello" I said putting the phone to my ear
"Hi Niall. I talked to your father again"
"What about this time" I groaned
"He wants you to finish the school year in Texas with him"
