*MARK'S POV*
We walked into the dimly lit restaurant, the potent smell of roses filled the air. You could almost feel the love and happiness quickly filling the air. The hostess, young, blonde, her name tag had Jack's logo on one corner and mine on the other. She knew who we were. She looked at us..up..down, and smiled. She showed us too our seats asked for our drink order which was a rosè whine that I knew Jack liked, I on the other had had to enjoy some crappy water as to not die from the alcohol. We sat there waiting the silence slowly consuming us as I was waiting for Jack to speak.
*JACK'S POV*
We were sitting there I didn't know what to say so I just looked Mark in the eyes. His eyes that hold so much. Secrets,hope,kindness, love. I wish I could tell him now but I'll have to wait for later. *Ahem* "I would like to thank you for taking me here Mark" I stumble through my words. "Anything for you...I...um"
*MARK'S POV*
"I...um"
"You what Mark?"
"I wanted to ask you something"
At that moment the waitress comes in with our food. I look over and see that Jack notices her name tag as well. She must have heard me because after she leaves she looks back and winks at me and gives me a small "thumbs up". Jack notices.
"What was that about Mark?"
"Um I don't know. Let's eat."
~Time skip~
"Jack if I don't say this now I never will"
*JACK'S POV*
"Say what Mark. You can tell me"
"Jack...I love you. I don't know what I would do without you so I don't want to loose you. Would you like to make it official and be together...as boyfriends?"
"Mark..." I stutter I'm shocked I was going to ask him the sane thing.
"Mark...of course I will... I...I love you too"
I notice the blonde young waitress a few couples away with a large grin on her face and she was staring right at Mark. She had to have known. Tonight was the happiest night of my life.
