It was three months after Jed turned ten that Mary todl him they were moving to New York. Jed did not care. He hated living on a farm. There was to much work to be done and the whole farm was dirty. He thought that this was his chance to finally get away from the horrid farm. He was actually quite excited about moving! He did not care that the town he was moving to was named Nortchvill. He didn't care just as long as he was off the farm. And so they packed up and left for there new home, not knowing that they were about to move to the strangest town on planet earth.
