Josh's pov
As she danced around the room , i watched as her body moved. wondering . wishing . she would be mine. Wishing i had the courage to ask her to be more with me. More than just my star student. More than just another girl i'll meet ,love , and loose again.
After class i assigned her the top female role. We would be dancing to Cinderella. She would be the princess and i the prince.
Oh of only. Only in a perfect world....
*later that day *
As we all took a lunch brake i sat in my office eating, thinking !typing ,wondering and repeating that process in a number of different orders.
Never actually knowing what i was thinking of.
I looked around at the dancers. I saw all but one enjoying their food and water as if they were poor children , deprived of food. Seeing it for the first time in a while. Not caring what it was but just eating it. Every piece then practically chugging their water, like little kids and chocolate milk.
Everybody but one. One graceful ,beautiful dancer. She moved like a gazelle. She looked as if i touched her she would brake , like a butterfly.
"Thalia". I called out to her. She abruptly stopped dancing and looked my way. I nodded answering the question forming in her head as to if i was calling her. She delicately. Walked cautious . just as if she would fall into a hole plummeting down into the earth. So far she would never come back out.
"Yes mr..." She trailed of. Her voice lightly sounding .
"Newman " i said. " But call me josh. Now , what i was going to ask why don't you eat. ?"
"Um , i ....i dont have much money for food. The food i buy is for my daughter. " She replied. In almost a whisper.
" Let me take you to dinner". i retorted not actually thinking of what i was saying.
"Uh.... Um... Ok" she said in an awkward manner.
"But... Um , professionally, ok?"
"Ok,.... Um Josh? Here's my number so you can call me. "
"I will pick you up at 9? I can find your house." And after its out. After i said it i realize how desperate i am to get her .
" Um what i mean is if uh you give me directions i can pick you up " i say quickly trying to cover my mistake up.
"Um ok i will tell you how to get there over the phone later. " She said as she blushed and smiled. She turned and walked out. Then continued to dance not giving it any thought.
Thalia's pov
As i drove home happily i realized i forgot about hope! I raced down the road slowing down if i saw cops. Picked her up and drove home. Hope ran upstairs and i could here her opening and closing her drawers.
I got into the shower and washed my hair. Then slowly washed of my body carefully scribing behind my ears , my neck , then my chest ,stomach , legs and feet. As i grabbed a tooth brush and paste i brushed my teeth. Then using mouthwash swishing the blue juice in my mouth ignoring the sting and tingles it gives me.
I turned off the water grabbed a towel. I dried off and walked to my bedroom realizing hope was asleep. I quietly closed the door behind me. I looked through my closet wandering what to ware.
I chose a royal blue dress that has thick thee finger long straps that sit on my shoulders. The dark blue compliments my pale skin so i walked to my mini shoe rack. I grabbed a pair of matching blue heels that made me 5 ft 10in compared to joshes 6ft 3in. I put lotion on my legs so i looked decent. Then i let Mykonos curly brown hair drape over my shoulder thinking what i should do with it. I brushed and blow dried my hair. Then stood infringement of my fan for a moment to attempt to get a wind blown hair type style.
I Putin a little blue eyeshadow on along with mascara and silver eye liner. lastly applying red lipstick and a bit of pink blush. I looked into the mirror and was very satisfied with my look!
