My name is Harper Marie and I'm sixteen years old. When I was thirteen I found out I had cancer. When I was told all i could think about was that i was going to die, why me, why did this have to happen. Well when my world was turned upside down; that was when I relised what am i doing with my life.
I started my chemo a week later after I found out it was the worst feeling ever, not being able to keep down any food, feeling like crap for hours at a time. Later on I found out they were going to have to use a harder and stronger medicine just to try and help but thats when I met Mitten. Mitten is a fellow paitent with me and is just as bad as me. We find it crazy that this has happened to both of us when were such good people. We got closer and closer until one day we kissed.
