I turned around and saw a squirrel. good enough! I slowly made my way towards it and when I was close enough to it I pounced on it. It was a mess of guts and blood everywhere.
Why did I kill an innocent squirrel? it didn't do nothing it was just probably trying to look of some nuts or something.I turned back into my human form and walked towards the water,I got in and wash the blood of my face,hands,and my chest.silent tears running down my face,did that mean my mate rejected me?
I wanted to have children with my mate. grow old with my mate, but now I can't because ill never see the curly lad again.

Yep Conner means 'lover of hounds or wolves' and Ulmer means 'fame of the wolf'.
