Simon's POV
"SIMON EDWARD MINTER FOR FUCKS SAKES HURRY UP!" I heard my small friend call from the kitchen.
"Okay I'm coming!" I called back to him. "See ya Josh, see ya JJ." I said to my other two friends in the house.
"Bye Simon." They both replied.
I hurried down the stairs, suitcase and skiing gear in hand.
"You sure you got everything?" Vik asked, looking at me; his head tilted.
"Yes Mum, of course I do." I looked back at him, rolling my eyes.
Vik laughed and then returned to looking at his phone, he's probably texting his girlfriend Claire. They're a cute couple.
"Taxi's here!" he said excitedly, and scurried out the door.
I grinned, and followed him. We hopped into the taxi and made our way to the airport.
"We're gonna meet the rest of The Pack when we get to the airport in British Columbia ." Vik said, and rambled out the rest of our plan. I nodded in reply, though I was not really listening to him. I was zoned out, thinking about how much of an idiot I'll look like on the slopes.
I snapped back to reality when we stopped. "Oh we're here." I flashed my brown friend a grin. "I'll race ya to the entrance.
"But Si-." Before Vik could finish I was already gone.
"I won I won." I said in a sang song voice and did a little happy dance once we got through security and arrived at the date.
"Whatever Simon." He replied with a laugh, and slumped down into a chair.
"British Airways flight 719 to Vancouver, Canada boarding now. This the the general boarding call for remaining passengers."
I hauled Vik to his feet, and then skipped over to the lady at the desk to flash her my passport.
"Going home?" She asked me, noticing my Canadian passport.
"Oh no, I'm just visiting." I replied.
My friend and I made our way to the plane. We found our seats and got settled in. I saw Vik close his eyes already. He must be so exhausted, the poor bean needs to get more sleep. Then again, we all do really, being Youtubers we don't get much of it, this trip will do him good. I looked over at him and smiled. "Have a good nap Vik." I said to myself as we took off.
I spent the remainder of the flight listening to music and looking out the window. Finally the plane landed.
"Wake up sleepyhead." I tapped Vik's shoulder, waking him up.
"Hmm? Wha?" He yawned and rubbed his eyes. "Oh right, we're here. I gotta text Preston to come get us in the rental car."
I nodded, assuming The Pack has arrived before us; and we got our luggage and left the airport.
"Yup we're in Canada alright, My ass is already frozen off." I laughed, and took my scarf out of my bag to put on.
"Simon we just got here and you're already making Canada jokes." Vik chuckled, and playfully hit me in the arm.
"I can't help it." I replied with a wide grin.
I saw Preston pull up in front of us. "C'monn mates." He called through the window, attempting an English accent.
"Please never do that again, it hurt my ears." Our brown friend teased as he took shotgun as I hopped in the backseat. The American just stuck his tongue out at him in reply.
"Hey Simon do you still hate me?" Preston asked as we left the city.
"Preston I don't just hate you, I loathe you." I answered, making sure he can see my eyes rolling in the rearview mirror.
"I love you too." The American replied with a smile, and Vik laughed.
The rest of the ride to the ski resort we listened to the radio and sang along. We finally arrived. Vik excitedly grabbed his bags and bolted for the house. I guess he was excited cause he hasn't hung with The Pack in a while. I looked over at Preston, he was smiling at his phone.
"You texting Paige?" I asked.
He nodded. "Who knows Simon, maybe you can end up finding that someone on this trip." He wiggled his eyebrows.
I smiled a little. "Yeah, it's a possibility."
We went on inside to join the other guys.
Manny's POV
"Manny, get your face out of your phone and talk to your family!" My mom said, I could hear a hint of anger in her voice.
"Okay I'm sorry, but you know I am looking for a place to live in or near London." I said back.
My mom is supportive yes, but she didn't think I'd end up a Youtuber who wants to move across the ocean and try to expand her small channel.
"Can't you at least wait for wifi?" She sighed in defeat.
"Nope." I answered, popping the 'p'.
We had finally arrived at the ski resort, and Mom, Dad and my little brother Rohit helped me unpack the car. I stopped in my tracks, hearing what sounded like a bunch of guys yelling at each other while playing video games in the house across from ours. I'm a gamer myself, so I can tell. They sound like they're having fun.
"Hey Manny, maybe you'll meet Mr. Right on this vacation." Rohit laughed, as we got into our house.
"Fuck off." I chuckled and messed up his hair, but I was secretly hoping he was right.
