Fourteen year old Apollo Wilson was being stuck in another orphanage, with another bunch of people he wouldn't like but would have to put up with. It was nothing new to him, really. Slightly daunting still, but nothing new. Having been left at birth, he was used to the sad truth of being constantly moved around. No one wanted him. He was fine. He had come to terms with that.

In fact, he kind of liked it that way. He slipped right under the radar. Of course, there will always be bullies- but he pretty much stayed out of everyone's mind. He liked being isolated, but at the same time wanting a family more than anything else in the world.

What he didn't expect, however, was to meet the best group of friends he had ever had, and form the most amazing friendships, relationships and love than he could ever had imagined.

But these kids all have an abundance of bad luck. When things keep going wrong, and they just can't seem to stop trauma from happening, can they really see the light at the end of the tunnel?

Is it worth it?

Could Broyles be the home and family they've all been searching so desperately for?
