Expedition

It was the moment I got my map that I decided to get off my butt and go outside for once. I start down the street on an expedition. I look on my map and see a blue marker where the church would be. I decide to go the blue marker. All of a sudden, a button appears on the map next to the blue marker. I push it, and the map makes me shake a coin. Out of the coin comes four red and white things.

Once I'm done at the church, I start heading back down the street and I see an animal thing in the neighbor's driveway. I cross the street and at closer inspection, it looks like a rat. Suddenly the map gives me one of the red and white balls I acquired at the church. I decide to throw it at the rat. Just then, the rat get sucked into the ball I just threw. It shakes one, two, three times until my map shows me a detailed screen telling me about the rat. Scientific name: Rattata. I press okay and head back to my house.

I get back home and have a glass of water. I feel good inside as I realize, I just caught my first Pokemon.
