  Y/N's POV

I woke up confused, as it was storming, I had no idea where I was, I got up to my feet looking around, it was a mess. Everything was tearing apart from the Earth's soil. I heard a slight groan and jumped by surprise, not knowing someone else was around, I turned around and say a guy..but not just any guy. I saw Cryatoic. I knew it was him because he was wearing the famous mask. "H-hello?" I spoke he looked up at me then around, I'm guessing he was confused as well, he quickly got up. "Where the hell..?" He questioned looking around the area. "We have to get to someplace safe.." He spoke. I nodded a bit looking around as well, and saw a lighthouse. "How about that lighthouse?" I questioned pointing out to it, and he nodded. "Its our best bet." He replied and we both made our way up the hill as the rain shot down like bullets on the two of us. "Holy Shit!" He exclaimed and I looked over seeing a giant tornado. "Oh my god!" I replied. "Wh-what the hell's going on?" I asked looking up at the masked man. "I wish I knew," Cry replied. Suddenly I heard what sounded like cracking and Cry practically grabbed onto me. "LOOK OUT!" He yelled making me look up seeing the top of the lighthouse coming down to land on me.

I then woke up, but in a class room this time. 'what the hell?!' I questioned myself looking around, not really paying attention to what the teacher who surprisingly looked pretty young. I looked around the room seeing a girl in a skirt who had a snarky look on her face, I then turned my head seeing a girl who looked like she was afraid of the world, she then had a piece of paper thrown at her, I shot my head in the direction the paper was thrown from. And yet the teacher was still going on with his lesson. What the hell am I even supposed to be learning!? I sighed, the whole thing must've been just a crazy dream..But it felt so real. I couldn't see Cryatoic anywhere, so..yea of coarse he wouldn't be here, but why the hell am I here? I sighed once more, looking down at the table I was sitting at. I had a cell phone, pencil case, piece of paper for notes I'm pretty sure, as well as a really nice photo. and a older version of a Polaroid camera. I picked it up looking at it a bit. I've honestly always wanted one, just never been able to find one. I accidentally hit the button to take a picture the flash made me blink a few times, I took the picture out shaking it a bit. "I believe (Y/N) has taken what you kids call a 'selfie' a dumb word for a wonderful photographic tradition, and (Y/N) has a gift" The teacher spoke. Seriously?! You stop your lecture when I take a picture but not when a girl is being bullied!? I put the camera down looking around as the whole class was staring at me. "Of coarse as you all know, the photo portrait has been popular since the early 1800's. Your generation was not the first to use images for selfie-expression, sorry. I couldn't resist," He continued, making me just want to fall asleep, oh yea everyone knows about that Mr...Um..What's this guys name? "The point remains that the portrait has always been a vital aspect of art, and photography for as long as its been around." The teacher spoke once more. "Now (Y/N) Since you've captured our interest and clearly want to join the conversation can you please tell us the name of the process that gave birth to the first self portraits." He spoke looking at me, crap I'm so screwed, uhh... "I-I did know...but I kinda forgot." I lied, hoping to get him off my back. "You either know this or you don't (Y/N), is there anybody here who knows their stuff?" He asked looking around the room. Suddenly the girl who had the snarky look on her face shot up her hand and started to speak. "Louis Daguerre was a French painter who created the "daguerrotypes" a process that gave portraits a sharp reflective style, like a mirror." She then looked over at me. "Now your totally stuck in the retro zone, sad face." What the hell? That was the dumbest remark I've ever heard, and her voice was so annoying too. But somehow it got some girls to laugh. "Very good Victoria." The teacher spoke. Okay really?! Two times of bullying in one class and nothing?! This teacher sucks. "The Daguerrian process brought out the fine detail in people's faces, making them extremely popular from the 1800's onward. The first American daguerrotype self-portrait was done Robert Cornelius. You can find out all about him, in your text book, or even online." Then the bell rang, finally. I sighed relived getting out of my seat. "Guys don't forget the deadline to submit a photo for the everyday hero's contest. I'll fly out with the winner to San Francisco where you'll be feted by the art world. Its great exposure and can kick start a career in photography. So Stella and Alyssa, get it together, Taylor don't hide, I'm still waiting for your entry too, and yes (Y/N) I see you pretending not to see me. I sighed putting the bag that was beside me over my shoulder as I put everything in it. I walked over to where the piece of paper had landed picking it up. 'hey Kate, loved your porn video xxx' Well that's mean..." I thought throwing it out making my way to the door. "(Y/N) I'd like to talk to you before you leave please," The teacher spoke making me groan, why me.
