Recap (still Emliys POV)
   I was on my phone when someone throws a napkin at me I look over and see one of Brennan's friends. He tells me to walk over to him so I get up and go into the kitchen.

   When I walk into the kitchen Brennan's friend says "Hey I'm Simon" " I'm Emily, it's nice to meet you Simon. So why did you throw this at me?" I asked him "oh yeah sorry about that I just wanted to get your attention. You see when you opened the door I couldn't stop looking at you or thinking of you yeah it's only been like 6 minutes but I like you" Simon says to me "I don't know what to say..." "You don't have to say anything, here let's exchange numbers maybe we can meet up sometime?" "Yeah" I answer. So we exchange numbers and he heads back downstairs. He seems like a nice guy and everything I just don't like him I just really really like Brennan.

Brennan's POV
Simon comes back down and I was really hoping she rejected him, I know it's mean but it would hurt me to see my best friend with the girl I liked ever since I saw her, but by the way he came down smiling and jumping around looks like he didn't get rejected. "So how'd it go" I ask my best friend "It went great, I got her number and we're gonna hangout sometime" he told me. I started hurting inside but I had to be happy for my best friend. I guess I should've talked to her before he did but it was to late now. For the rest of the night me and my friends just played video games.

Emily's POV
We later went home and said our goodbyes. I got a text it was from Simon.
S=Simon
E=Emily

S: Hey
E: Hey

Yes I have to admit so far this conversation was really horrible and awkward.

   S:Wanna Hangout sometime?
   E: Yeah sure. When?
   S: Maybe a nice walk in the park with ma' lady
   E: haha! Yeah sure.

After that the conversation just took off we ended up talking until 1:30am! I guess he really is funny, he's better than I expected. I have to get over Brennan he probably doesn't even like me back he never would he probably likes some other girl. So I decided not to like him anymore. Yes I know that you just can't force yourself to not like someone anymore but I have to face reality. Besides I think I like Simon.
