Skyler wakes up to her parents arguing downstairs. They live in a two story house with 4 bedrooms. Skyler is an average 16 year old teenager in 11th grade with fighting parents. She suspects something is going to happen but she is not sure because they fight all the time. She knows married couples fight but they are at it every day.
She gets out of bed and gets ready for school. When she goes downstairs her mom is sitting at the table drinking her morning cup of coffee and her dad is making his breakfast.
"Do you want me to make you anything, Sky?"
"No thanks, Dad. I'm not hungry."
She wants to get out of there as soon as possible because there is an awkward silence. Skyler drive a a red Chevrolet Camaro convertible. Her dad is makes lots of money and that was her 16th birthday present. Skyler gets to school and meets her best friend Diana.
