Chapter 7

Sadies week

Tyler's POV:

I can't believe Sadies is this Friday and no one has asked me yet. I can't go alone like a loner. I wonder if Skyler has asked anybody. Ugggghhhh I really want her to ask me! Oh, wait here she comes. Maybe she'll ask me. 

Skyler's POV:

I'm so nervous, I feel like I am going to completely embarrass myself. He probably doesn't even like me like that. How should I even say it?!? 

"Uh... hey Tyler so wanna go to Sadies with me?" No, that's weird. "Hey, Tyler, you, me Sadies, Friday night?" No, that sounds like something a cocky guy would say. Wait, I know. I'll pretend Diana wants to ask him and I'll see how he reacts and if he is totally excited then I'll know he likes her and not me.

Regular POV:

"Hey Tyler"

"Oh hey, Skyler. Didn't see you coming here"

"So... I have something I've been meaning to tell you"

Tyler's POV

This is it! She is totally asking me to Sadies!

Regular POV:

"Ok... what's up?"

"So... you know how Sadies is coming up, right."

"Yeah...", Tyler said getting excited.

"Well Diana wants to ask you but she is not sure if you feel the same about her"

Tyler's POV:

What?!?! Diana?!?! Does she think I like Diana? Oh no. She probably does. Or else she wouldn't have said anything. Which means she doesn't like me.

Regular POV:

"Ummm well..."

"It's ok if you don't like-"

"It's not that"

Skyler's POV:

Dammit Dammit DAMMIT!  Why did I just say that?  He obviously likes her and now I know. Uggggh why do I always mess things up for myself?

Regular POV: 

"It's just, I was hoping someone else would ask me"

"Oh..."

"Yeah. But it's ok. I'll talk to Diana and I'll tell her that I think she should ask someone else"

"You know what, I'll do it, you know to save her from the embarrassment."

"No, it's really fine. I don't mind doing it. Plus I have her for biology next anyway. Which reminds me, I gotta go. See you later."

"No! Tyler wait-"

"It's fine we'll talk about it later"

And with that Tyler was off. He didn't want to spend another minute in this awkward situation. 

Skyler's POV: 

Oh no. What did I just do? I totally messed up. He is gonna tell Diana what I said and he is gonna be weirded out since he likes neither of us.
