A short introduction to some of the main character in my upcoming story 'the promise'
Matthew Shackleton: His father is a somewhat snobby MP. His mother died some time ago, leaving behind a small fortune. Matthew is not rich however, as he spent his inheritance on a small shop in the village.
Ruby Sharma: Ruby is engaged to be married to the handsome Matthew Shackleton. Her parents are rich and live in a large country house, overlooking the village like some kind of Royalty. Her father owns a number of succesful businesses as well as numerous accres of land. Ruby goes without nothing.
Alicia Smith : Isn’t she that girl in the village? The one with the high heels and hoop earrings? I think her mother died when she was young.. She works in the farm shop, has a little boy. She’s nobody special...
