I couldn't believe it. The collar was on my neck and I didn't even see her move.

"I'm sorry," she had said. Well sorry my butt. I didn't like being held captive and I certainly don't like being made some kind of pet but I followed Kaysha anyway. We headed toward the back of the compound after we passed the surprised faces of the humans.

I was glad that they were scared. They should be scared of me. I was their end their death. As I left I looked down on the man I had just murdered and made sure I stepped on him on my way out. This was my first victim here in this country and it tasted delicious, Don't get me wrong now. I hate the taste of humans. I just love the taste of revenge.

As I followed Kaysha into the back of the compound I noticed a shift in the energy of the place. Before it had been dark and dreadful but now it was full of energy. You probably think that this is a good thing but you are wrong, The energy here was full of malice and blood. It felt like the air itself wanted to sink its fangs inside of me. To tear me into nothing, It sent shivers down my spine.

Kaysha walked into an open door and made sure I followed before shutting the door behind me, closing me in the small area. I tried to turn around and open the door, but its been a while since I've been in human society so yeah I couldn't figure how to open the door. Embarrassing I know. I didn't have long to embarras myself before Kaysha grabbed me and pulled me further into the room. She sat me down in a chair and sat down next to me.

I took the time to look around and realized that it was a pretty cozy room for something that felt terribly dangerous. The room was filled with bookshelf that incased the whole room and every single slot was filled with books. I mean the book cases reached the ceiling and some of it climbed part of it, 'literally'! There were books hanging above my head!

Anyway in front of us was a desk that was made of some pretty expensive wood. It was built just like those nice desk that you see your boss sitting behind in those secret agent movies and just like in the movies a big man was sitting behind it looking all important.

Behind him was the man from earlier. He looked slightly pale since the last time we saw him a few minutes ago but hey its not my problem.

"You decided to take the mongrel," boss man said, making it more like a statement than a question.

"Yes, sir," was all Kaysha said.

"Why?"

". . . No answer sir. Guts."

I really dont like people talking about me especially when I'm sitting right here. Has it like ever occured to you that hey I Can Talk!!!!! It gets on my nerves when people ignore me. Well in a way I guess its good that they ignored me or didnt ask any questionss cause well I didnt understand their language that well. English is just sooooo confusing!

"Hmmmm," was all he said.

"Sir," said the man from earlier. "That animal is dangerous," he said pointing a finger at me. "We shouldnt put it around innocent citizens."

"Quiet Bailey," said Bossy. Thats what I decided to name him. I think its better than boss man. Dont you think? "Kaysha handled it pretty well when the animal went beserk in the lunch room a few minutes ago. I think she can handle it out there as well."

"But Mike was killed before she could stop it. What if an innocent child is killed before she can stop it!"

I realized then that I really didnt like this guy. He was always complaining about something. I may not be able to understand every word that they are saying but that doesnt mean I can't understand feelings. I can totally understand the mood.

"We should put the animal down!" he continued.

"No, Bailey. It will stay with Kaysha." said Bossy. "I believe she can be the one to tame this animal,"

Bailey opened his mouth to object.

"Go," said Bossy quietly to Bailey. I watched as Bailey left but not without saying a few choiced words in our general direction. 'Kaysha," said Bossy, turning to her. "I give you leave for this month. You will be paid. This is a mission from me to you and a secret one at that. So dont go around telling the world that hey I got a dangerous pet from the government. Got it?"

"Yes sir," she said before turning and leaving and of course I followed.

This Kaysha woman was something different. I didnt feel frightened when I was around her and to make matter better she stood up for me. I may not have liked her electricuting me to stop me from tearing up that man but hey take what you can get. I may not know the whole story behind Kaysha but I'm feeling like I can start to trust her. Wait is trust even a feeling?
