Anybody Home? (chapter 1)

Finally the last day of school! I was so tired and happy as I walked to my sister Aliya's car. I had just graduated from high school and now when school started again I would be off to college.
I wasn't as happy to go to college because I missed everything about high school, like my friends, my teachers. I know missing my teachers isn't a good thing but I was a straight a student so what would you expect out of me.

My sister and I got in the car and we took turns driving everyday so today was her turn and we made a deal that the passenger got to choose the songs that we have to listen to. So that means I got to choose the songs.
I happily plugged the aux cord into my phone and put on some Bollywood/indian songs.
We got a french fries from McDonald's and started our way home. I couldn't wait to tell mom and dad that Aliya and I had passed high school.

When Priya and Aliya reached home

I found the key to the house and let Aliya in first and me after her. We both went to our room and we shared a room because we had the same likings and we looked alike. We never fought we were always happy and shared our secrets and helped each other when we needed help.
Something was not right though the house felt more quiet then usual, maybe mom and dad had gone somewhere.
"Aliya can you call mom and put the phone on speaker." I said.
"Sure thing Priya." She replied. We were born on the same day like twins but didn't look exactly alike but people could tell we were sisters.

Mom's phone rang in the other room and we jumped because we got scared.
"Mom must've forgotten her phone at home try and call dad." I said.
"Yeah dad usually picks up the phone." She said. Dad's phone rang in the same room as mom's phone did.
"Priya, let's check the other room maybe they are sitting in there." Aliya said. When we went to the other room no one was there. I picked up mom and dad's phones and we went to go check downstairs, the basement, the garage and outside. The basement was empty no sign of mom and dad and the they weren't downstairs or outside which means they were in the garage. We opened the door and mom and dad's car was standing there.
"Why is that there if they gone somewhere they would take that wouldn't they?" I asked Aliya.
" Why don't we wait maybe a friend or relative picked them up." She replied.

We went back upstairs to mom and dad's room and opened their closet to look for the diary that had all of the relatives and their friends numbers. We sat on the bed and called each and every person but they all said that they hadn't seen them. So I went to put the diary back in the closet and I found a letter on the floor. I picked it up and went back to where Aliya was siting and we opened it together.
You must be wondering where your parents are aren't you well your parents are with us and in order to save them you have to give us 16 million dollars or else you will never see your parents again.

"16 million! Where are we gonna get that much money!?" Aliya said in shock.
"We have to become actresses in the beginning we will have low salary but once we quickly become hits for movies and shows we can earn it." I said.

I know this chapter gave away where their parents are but the next chapters are gonna go a little slower thanks to punjabipatakha14 for the pics and helping me write this do follow her and read her books she is an awesome person in my case cousin❤ new chapter comes out everyday
