____ got to the door of the restaurant, and tugged on the door. It didn't budge. Weird. There were lights on inside, but she couldn't see if there were people at the cash or not.

"It's no use. They're cleaning. It'll be about ten minutes." She jumped at the voice, and turned her head to see who spoke. He wasn't there when she approached.

"How do you know that?" ____ questioned, a little frazzled by the whole situation. He laughed.

"I just went to the side window. They shut it down every few hours when it's like this to mop down the floor."

"Oh. Well, I'll wait." She sighed as she leaned against the small wall of brick next to the guy.

"So, dudette, I'm guessing that you're new in town?" He asked, looking over. It was hard to see his face because of his hood, but if she squinted, then she could make out a little more of his face. Baby blue eyes, with glasses framing them. She thought she saw a small piece of blonde hair as well.

"Uh, yes. In fact, I just moved in today." She replied with a kind smirk.

"You see, I'd know if you were new or not, cause I come here all the time!" He exclaimed with a goofy grin in which ____ giggled slightly at.

"Really? You don't look like it. Not like someone who eats at Mickey's everyday. I'd think that they'd be really fat." She shrugged, and he brightened once she said that.

"Hey, dudette, that's cool of you." Wait. What?

"Hm...?"

"Lots of people say that I'm chubby and all, so it's cool that it wasn't the case with you!" He said excitedly. "How 'bout the hero buys you supper?"

She pondered about this for a moment. "The hero?"

"Yeah! That's me! So how 'bout it?" It took a moment for ____ to respond.

"Well, I don't know..." It felt kinda wrong, having a stranger buy you food and such.

"I'll buy mine, and half of yours, then." It was an offer that she couldn't put down, really.

"Okay fine...?" She trailed off, wondering about his name.

"Alfred F. Jones, the hero, at your service!" He replied happily, saluting as well.

"Well, I'm ____ ____." She smiled brightly, and stared up at the snowflakes twirling down towards her.

"Oh. They opened! C'mon!" Alfred nodded his head at the door and held it open, as ____ walked in.

"Thanks, Alfred."

"No problem, bro!"
