Frozen Smiles
And Lifeless Eyes
Stare Up From
The Grocery Aisle
Another One Missing
Another One Lost
Unable To Imagine
At What Was The Cost
But The Hope That Shone
In The Eyes Of The Parent
When They Handed The Photo
Over To The Sheriff
Makes A Shopper Stop For A Moment
Taking Stock Of The Picture
Reading The Names And The Dates
Of This Current Feature
Before They Shrug And They Leave
Because Their Lives Are Too Busy
Outside Of This Place
So The Pictures Repeat
And Hope Is Forgotten
Such Is The Fate
Of Milk Carton Children

PoetryJust a selection of poems I have written, that didn't fit in with my other poetry selection since these really have nothing to do with my novel. But there may be some repeats from the other selection.
