JACOB'S POV
I already knew my mom was still up. Probally watching scandal, or listening to music. As I parked my car, I started to think about lying to my mom, about where I was for the first time in my life. However I went against it. The Bible says lying is a sin, and that if you obey your parents you can live a long, beautiful life. I entered the house kicking my shoes off at the door.
"JACOB, BABY! Where have you been Mi Amor?" My mom said clutching her heart.
"The sanctuary mom." I said nonchalantly.
"THIS LATE JACOB? DON'T LIE TO ME HIJO!" My mom yelled. I noticed she was holding back tears. Her eyes were glassy.
"When have I ever lied to you, mom." I replied calmly.
"I DON'T CARE JACOB! You could start to change like those rotten ass kids at your school." she spat viciously.
"MOTHER! MY GOODNESS. Do you have any respect for our dear Lord? HUH? My life at school expierience is already depressing, I don't need my home life to be the same way."
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT GOD. I DARE YOU TO SAY HIS NAME AGAIN!" she screamed to the top of her lungs.
This is my cue to exit, before she starts to really test my patience. The Bible says that God made men ten times stronger than females for a reason. I refuse to let her bring me down.
"Since you clearly are letting demons over-power you, I'm going to go upstairs and read my Bible like everyday. Let me know when you've found a resolution to your conflict."
And with that, I started walking up the stairs. I soon stopped and turned around to face an outrageous red face Theresa.
"This is exactly why I yearn for one loyal friend. Why are you treating me this way mother? I don't even want to hear it. Goodnight."
That's it Jacob, Start on your marvelous project- he whispered.
"Jesus? If that's you then I can't wait for them to feel the way you did."
A demonic smile was plastered across Jacobs' face as he started to sketch, and outline his plan.
If your a intellectual person, then please answer my question,
"What's A sin without a sinner?"
