My Shooting Star- Pokemon Serena x reader (male)

Competition day one: pt 1

Serena pov

I woke up in my hotel bed and looked over to see where my Pokemon were. No one was here. I was getting worried when I saw a note on the table.

Dear Serena,
Y/n and I have gone out to see who is stronger with a Pokemon battle. Friendly rivalry right. We are just getting ready so we are waiting for you. We won't start until you come down. Also all the Pokemon are with us so don't worry. Battle fields are in the front.

After I read the note ash left I got dressed, grabbed my stuff and double checked to see if anyone left anything. Nothing left but the stuff that was in the hotel room. I walked down the stairs and outside to where the battlefields are. I ran up to them. "Morning!" I yelled. "Morning!" Everyone yelled back. "Ok! Fair double battle. Pick your two Pokemon!" Clement said. Looks like clement is the judge again. "Y/n your going down! I choose my greninja and my pikachu!" Ash yelled as greninja and pikachu ran onto the battle field. "Ha you went first so I have the upper hand. Rayquaza and jirachi." He said as they flew down.
"Ok battle start-" clement didn't even get to finish before y/n did something huge. "Rayquaza you know what to do!" Y/n yelled as a giant ball of light surrounded rayquaza. When the light disappeared rayquaza looked way different. I looked at ash who had a worried expression on his face. "What happened?" I asked clement. "Mega evolution." Clement answered. I was shocked. He had the power to do that. "Rayquaza use thunder on greninja. Jirachi use wish." All of the sudden a giant cloud formed over greninja and BAM! Greninja feinted from a giant lighting bolt. "Now pikachu use iron tail." Ash yelled. Pikachu hit rayquaza straight on. It did nothing since jirachis wish healed it. "Rayquaza use dragon ascent." Y/n said. Rayquaza flew straight up Into the air and before you new it a giant green beam hit pikachu. Soon rayquaza appeared out of he green beam and flew to y/n. "Looks like ash is all out of Pokemon. Y/n wins!" Clement yelled. Rayquaza returned into its pokeball as y/n did the same to all his Pokemon except jirachi. "Hey y/n why don't you put jirachi in its pokeball." I asked. "He doesn't need a pokeball. We just have such a strong relationship that we stay by each others side." He said with a irresistible smile. I blushed a little and looked at my watch. "Agh!" I screamed. "We need to run. I need a place in the competition!" I screeched as I started running. I looked behind me to see y/n playing a.... Flute? As soon as he put his 'flute' in his bag the legendary Pokemon Latios and out of the clouds. He climbed on top of Latios and threw out rayquaza for the others to ride. He flew up to me and threw out Noivern. "Use him as a lift." He said as he flew by me." I got on Noivern and let him fly me to the competition.

--------at the competition centre--------

Noivern let me off. I ran into the centre and saw y/n and the gang sitting waiting for the first round. "Guys I don't think I made it." She said. "Oh no you did. I signed you up." Y/n said. I realized why they were sitting there. Latios must have gotten hit. "What happened to Latios?" I asked worried. "Team flare They hit it with a hyper beam from there houndoom." Clement said. "Rayquaza scared them away but we're waiting here for nurse joy. Latios might die." Y/n said now crying. I know that he must have a emotional connection with Latios just like with jirachi. No pokeballs needed. "I'm here show me where Latios is!" Nurse joy said. I walked over to y/n and gave him a hug. "Everything is gonna be ok." I said in the most calming voice I could've used. "He wanted to be in the first round with me for the competition." He said back to me. "Ok now Latios will be alright. He just has to recover. No using him in battles or competitions. Let him rest." Nurse joy said and left. Latios was now floating again but had trouble. I never thought I would use this for another person but here it goes. I pulled out the full restore that my mom gave me and made Latios drink it. In a matter of time Latios was floating no problem. "Serena you didn't have to do this for me. Crap! I just realized I had five of those!" He said calmly. "Here you go for the help." He said as he gave me 3 full restores. "Oh thank you" I said back. I hugged him and stared to get ready for my first round.

Y/n pov

"Y/n and Serena sitting in a tree!
K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Bonnie said. "Ugh shut up." Ash said. Wait why was ash saying that. "Bonnie yeah what ash said. Anyways do you think that I have a crush on Serena." I asked Bonnie. "Yeah!" She said excited. My cheeks turned pink and I decided to go get ready for the competition. Latios jirachi and umbreon will be with me for this round. Sceptile jirachi and umbreon are going to be with me for the semi finals and if I make it to the finally i will have sceptile rayquaza and jirachi. I have to get ready for the first round. Once I was ready I went with ash and them to watch Serena's round.
