We were both ready to go but suddenly we had to face delay.
The local policeman were not familiar with my face so they took me in for questioning.
Charlie drowning in silence and in shock,he chose not to interfere with what the policemen were doing.
Their village had once been attack by a guerrilla of soldiers, so a second attack could not be tolerated.

Reluctance was futile as it was only going to make the situation worse than it is. Even though I do not resist to cooperate, their questions will be pointless because i was blank as a canvas.
The Chief policeman appointed himself to become the interrogator.

During the interrogation:

Policeman:"Who sent you?"

"Me:No one"

"(The Policeman starting to raise his voice with anger)We know that you are planning something big,you and your men will not get away with it this time"

"I don't know anything about any village or explosives, Charlie told me that he found me out of the city when it was his shift"

"Guards!!! Take this imbecile to the holding cell, I can see he is not willing to cooperate"

(I didn't know how to react in situations like this, so I just let them do what they were ordered to)

I was put in a muddy, dusty and disgusting cell. I couldn't even breathe and the smell reeked stronger and stronger.
Charlie was allowed to go home but he was put on probation because the policeman had lost trust in him.
It took me a while to be a freeman,"but it was worth the while" i said.
The best things about it was that i got food everyday and that gave me a chance to recover my strength.

The worst of it all was to contemplate about the evidence that could have helped me to find out who I really, but it was busy fading from day to day.
It was hopeless to think deeply about it and it was hopeless not to either.
On the day that i was set free led me to a different story.
I was having a conversation with one of the policeman. "You are a free man now,but we are keeping an eye on you"

I was starring at the policeman quietly while he was about to finish filling the release forms.

"By the way, your friend Charlie passed away two weeks ago,he was shot dead"

Silence was my only weapon but today i realised that it was also a weakness too.
As my eyes were about to fill up with tears, the colour of my skin about to turn red i knew i could not hide my real emotions.
I rushed and ran out of the police station fueled with pain, despair and envy.

I knew that i was not accepted anywhere else in this place but at Charlies place. I also lacked information that only Charlie new. The only piece of information i had was when he told me about the fall that i survived.
My mission to retain my memory started here with this only information.

I had to travel the Saharan deserts of egypt and look for the highest point there is to find and hopefully i might get a clue or information that has not been tempered with during the time of my arrest.
It was hopeless but it was worth a try.

I went back to charlies place, when i got there i found the house with broken windows and sand about three inches from the ground inside the house and knew who to blame for
me maybe he would still be a live and his house would still be in a good condition like before.

I promised not to let Charlie down so i decided to find out who murdered him. It was getting late and i knew that i had nothing to help me travel the desert through the night as my sight was minimal.

The beddings to the bed i have not slept on many time and in a while were dusty.
I laid restless in an unsecured house while busy thinking about the things i never thought when i was arrested.

This helped increase my chances to find information about me.
I remembered the questions i was when the chief policeman had me in for interrogation.
