Why Is It Always Me

"Why does it always happen to me?" Holly Short wondered at her desk at the main LEP building. She kept asking herself that in tell in was time to get off work.

Holly sat at home trying to forget her mistake. A mistake that haunted her. That big mistake was, that she stopped her and Artemis Fowl's relationship. That great relationship that started in the gorilla cage in the past. She never wanted it to end, but she tried to do what's right for her job.

What would everyone think if they found out that her and Artemis were Dating? She might even be banished, although Artemis' deeds to the people. She regretted that idea ever since, but she could not do anything now. Holly loathed the idea. The idea of never getting back together with Artemis.

~Dublin,Ireland~

Artemis sat at his desk in his study at Fowl Manor. He was in the middle of a report on the new fairy wings Foaly had sent him for testing on the controls. But Artemis could not even think of the new wing set. He had a thought on his mind, one that wouldn't go away if he tried to dismiss the idea, but Artemis wanted to keep thinking in tell he found an answer.

Artemis knew well that there was only one answer. He didn't want to admit it, admit that he, Artemis Fowl, was in love. In love with Holly Short."Why does it always happen to me?" Artemis thought over and over. He thought about this for at least 30 minutes. He would have continued to think this and just sit there, in tell Butler had knocked in his door, snapping Artemis out of his daze.

"Your not acting yourself lately, is something wrong Artemis?" Butler asked in a tone that was a mix of seriousness and concern. "No Butler, I'm just fine. I suppose that I'm caught up in my work to get enough rest." Artemis lied. "Thats the exact reason your mother invited the fairies to visit." Butler said remarked. "Really?"

Artemis said trying to sound surprised and not excited like he'd been waiting for this moment all his life. ( He had been waiting for this for a long time though.) "Yes. Holly,Commander Kelp and Foaly will stay for 5 days." Butler replied. Artemis had to contain his excitement,so he wouldn't smile like a madman.

Instead he replied with "Very well. Will you be so kind to prepare the guest rooms please?" "Of course Artemis." Butler said. then Butler strode out of the room to get the guest rooms ready for there fairy friends.

Artemis suddenly got very nervous. Just the thought of seeing Holly was enough to sent Artemis into another deep daze. "What am I going to say." Artemis thought. He thought that thought in tell eventually he fell asleep in his study.

~LEP HQ, down town Haven~

"Hello Commander." Holly said to Trouble Kelp. "Hello,Holly." Trouble replied. "I have good news for you." Said Trouble trying to at least sound happy. "Well...whats the good news?" Holly hesitated. Trouble sighed like he had been asked to clean up a rotting troll that had been dead for 2 weeks.

After a brief moment of silence Trouble said "We are going to stay at Fowls house for 5days." Sounding like he'd rather be dead. "Really?" Holly exclaimed. "Unfortunately." Trouble sighed again. "When?" Holly asked excitedly. "Tomorrow." Came her reply.

~Later that night~

Holly had just finished packing her things for the trip. She was so very excited for the events to come the next day. She was also nervous. "What am I going to say to him?" she thought. Holly thought this in tell she drifted off to sleep.

~The next morning~

Holly woke up extra early to get ready for the big trip. After taking a shower, doing her hair and getting dressed. She headed off to Tara.
