"Just Kill Me"

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I wince. It seems that my normal way of escaping the pain isn't going to work. But I still try. 7, 8, 9. I scream as the leather belt makes contact with my skin for the tenth time. Tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Shut the hell up. Stop screaming or you'll get even more." I hear a gruff voice that I one use to adore say. But all I do now is fear it. Because whenever I hear it, its never any good.

"D-dad stop." I cry. When he stops I fearfully look up. Instantly regretting the moment anything left my mouth. Because soon enough the world surrounding me is dark as my head collides with the wall.

When I wake up, I slowly open my eyes to make sure no one is around. They left me in the living room. Why am I not surprised?

As I slowly get up I feel a piercing pain shoot through my ankle and my neck. Tears begin to spring. But I suck it up and walk upstairs. I can't make a sound or else they'll know I'm awake.

I successfully make it up the stairs with quite the effort and race to my room. I lock the door and crawl into bed. Tears hot on my cheeks.

I reach under my pillow and grabbed my diary.

"Deary Diary,

Its my first time writing in you since I received you. And it seems I haven't properly introduced myself.

My name? It doesn't matter its not important. My age well while I'm currently writing is 6. You'll be my best friend, so I'll tell you everything.

Including about my parents. I don't know what I did, I don't know what went wrong all I know is mommy and daddy haven't been nice to me like they use to. I miss that.

They've been making me cry. And hurting me. And they told me many times I should've never excisted. Then why am I here? Why do you keep me? Why don't you just kill me? If your going to do it, do it now. Just kill me.
