TIME

2 months, 28 minutes, and 2.5 seconds is all it took.
From the moment his wandering eyes fell on hers something inside ticked;
Insanity, because it felt ludicrous to feel what she felt as quickly as it happened.
She dealt with so much pain in the past that the thought of admitting to love again was atrocious.
It wasn't lust, because the thought of their intertwined bodies colliding together wasn't a first thought.
In fact, she looked at his body as if it were gold.
Untouchable, yet one day possible to treasure;
Love, touch, and be forever thankful for.
His smile made her feel alive, and his laughter made her feel like she lived on cloud 9.
High on him, and every thought and idea he ever had.
Falling, falling;
And away she fell.
She felt herself fall into a pit that landed her right in fear city.
She couldn't let him know, because it'd all go wrong; in her head.
He'd think she was insane; too fast, too cliche, too weird.
Damn;
Love is what she felt, and it was all too late.
No taking a train back to simply admiring or liking,
No plane back to the cute stage of puppy love.
3 months, 45 minutes, and 5.3 seconds
It was official, and unfortunate that she grew to be in love.
With him; from his head to his constantly moving feet.
This time she wouldn't rush to admit it; say it outloud, but she did repeat,
"What is love?" She found herself thinking.
Is it how she motivated him to do anything he desired to achieve?
How deeply she cared, and how much simply seeing his face made her weak kneed.
Every kiss was a bee sting by how it lingered;
Every conversation was treasured and his fascination with different things.
If she had to make a list of everything, it'd be more than a novel with side stories.
45 minutes, and 2.4 seconds
Being in love scared her more than anything.
5 minutes, and 3.6 seconds
Their eyes lingered, and when she opened her mouth all that came out was a whisper.
"You make me happy." Damn.
Was that all that could possibly come out?
Now;
The way he kissed her forehead caused her to sigh and give up; for now.
She knew she was in love, but patience being a virtue was true.
"Oh,love."
Throughout it all, it's quite a blessing.
