Chapter 1: Entertaiment At Its Best

"Minna-san! Are you ready?!" You shouted at the crowd. The stadium roared with excitement and a smile fell to your face. "We are now reaching the pinnacle of excitement! We have two Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the field with the same exact level! What do we do now?"

"Xyz summon!"

"That's correct! I overlay my two Red-Eyes and build the overlay network!" You raised your hand into the air as both dragons disappeared into the network, a red light coming out the dark hole. "Flames engulfing and burning brightly in the night, your metallic form overcoming all enemies! Now's the time for you to take the stage! Xyz summon!! Appear, Rank 7, Red-Eyes Metal Flare Dragon!!"

You closed your eyes and allowed a sigh to escape your lips. The crowd continuing to cheer you on and you then pointed a finger at your opponent. Revealing your [e/c] eyes, you blasted him a grin while saying your signature phrase, "it's time for the grand finale!" Your opponent got ready as you declared your battle phase. "I'll have my Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon attack your monster!"

"I activate my monster's effect!" Your opponent smirked but you only shook your head.

"Flare Metal's special ability! This card cannot be destroyed by card effects if it still has material, you'll have to tell your monster bye bye~. Also, with its second ability, when you activate a card effect you are dealt 500 points of damage." Your dragon destroyed his monster and he took damage.

"I still have life points left! When it comes to my turn, I shall end this battle!" Your opponent declared.

You sighed and shook you head. "I activate Flare Metal's ability! By using one of its overlay units, I get to summon one Red-Eyes Normal Monster in my Graveyard, and I'll summon Red-Eyes Black Dragon in attack mode! Now then, it shall attack you directly!"

Your opponent's life points hit zero and you have been declared the winner. You brushed your hand through your [h/c] locks that were tied up into a ponytail with a red bandanna[1]. You did a  bow to the audience and walked off stage. Happily waving to the crowd, you disappeared and went to your waiting room. Once you closed the door behind you, you yawned and plopped down on the couch. "Man that was tiring," you muttered. You did a small stretch and suddenly smiled, "oh yeah, I have to meet up with him!"

You jumped off the couch and headed towards the door in a hurry. Slamming the poor object open, you were immediately faced with your "manager". "Hey there! I'll be heading out now, see ya!" Was all you said before zooming off. The older woman only shook her head while checking her schedule, thankfully there wasn't anything for you to do after, or else she would have forced you to come back one way or another.

"Out of the way side characters!" You ran into the building while pushing away the security guards. You quickly went for the elevator and the door closed before the buff men could get to you. A small giggle left your lips as you pressed the one that went to his control room. The elevator immediately shot up to your destination and you walked out the moving box. "Wassup minna-san!?" You yelled out with a peace sign.

Everyone in the control room turned their heads to you but then returned to their work at monitoring as if they have been tired of seeing you. You frowned and walked over to the man standing above the control room and observed everyone from below while leaning on the railing, "still trying to find those Xyz users who's been turning everyone into cards?"

The man besides you pushed up his red glasses, "we still haven't gotten their current location yet but we are managing. We believe there are two Xyz users out there."

"You don't say. So, ya need my help again? I mean, the tournament's coming up, it would be a bother if they ruined it." You turned your head towards the older male who didn't cast you a look.

"Do as you like."

"Alright then. I'm pretty bored anyway and I'm sure it would be fun. I might get some good dueling involved."

"You're a famous pro duelist, shouldn't you be busy dueling other people from around the world?"

"Yeah, yeah, but that could wait. After all, a faithful follower should always put their boss before them right, Leader?" Reiji looked over at you and you flashed him your flawless grin before walking off to the elevator.

You looked both left and right. The sun was beginning to set and there was no where in sight of an Xyz user. From the information that you stole were given, you found out that they attacked people from LDS. You weren't a student at LDS but you thought they may attack around sunset or even dark at night. Just when you were about to go to a new location, you heard voices shout in the distance.

"My turn! I draw!"

You perked up at the sound of a duel and stars shown in your eyes. It can be someone fighting the Xyz user! You ran towards the direction of the voice and stopped when you were close enough. You hid behind a nearby building and looked over to see who was dueling. It was Hokuto, Masumi, and Yaiba fighting this other guy with a red bandanna tied around his neck.

Your eyes went wide when he wiped out three of your pals. They were in the top class of Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz. But here they are lying on the ground unconscious. You ran over and bent down next to Masumi, "guys! Wake up!"

"Are you with them?" The man asked as he approached.

"Well, I mean I'm not from LDS. And from what I know, you're that Xyz user who's been trashing the members of LDS. Why are you doing this anyway?" You answered casually.

"That's none of your business! Someone like you would never know! If you know them, then you must be accustomed to LDS. I will take you down as well!" His duel disk activated and you recognized it.

You then cast your gaze to the ground and stood up. You stood in front of the three students of LDS protectively and took out your [f/c] duel disk. It activated and you looked over at the man seriously, "we may have not properly met yet but if it's a duel you want, then it's a duel you'll get."

[1]: You have a red bandanna tying your hair up into a ponytail and it's similar to Serena's but instead of having four ends you only have two sticking out.
