"My name is Nadia Reed, and this is my messed up love story," Cora began but got interupted by laughter

She glares at our best friend Nadia, who she's writing this damn book for because she can't find the energy to do so herself.

Okay, maybe she lied a little, she may or may not be the biggest fangirl of one of our best friends and one a guy friend. But you would too if you've seen what we've seen. All that chemistry.

Nadia in the middle of her laughter says, "You can't actually be serious about this, i have no love story."

Now it's Cora's turn to laugh, "yeah, and Alice is going to be our best friends after 2 years." She accidentally blurt out and regrets it after they both freeze and Nadia realizes what she just said.

Cora felt tears welling up but holds them back. To her, crying is a sign of weekness.

Nadia never thought that, she thought that you have to let go when it's necessary but she always thought Cora was strong for rarely crying

Alice was our best friend since the 7th grade, and now we're about to be high school juniors without her. Long story short, she moved back to Korea a few days ago and left our insane family which consisted of 6 best friends brought together by their love and support.

Kidding, we were all just rude and stubborn creatures that denied the fact that they were humans. You can see why we instantly clicked.

Abby - the dad of the family. The most caring and aggresive person you will ever meet. Either gives you words of wisdom or smacks you across the head.

Nadia - the mom of the family. Will either love you or hate you, no in between. Loves making butt jokes with Cora. Blessed with a love story which she doesn't admit is true.

Maddie - the eldest daughter. Makes creepy faces no one could replicate. Likes to stop out of nowhere and take group pictures.

Alice - the middle child. Acts stupid for attention. Is the most generous person in our family, whereas the rest of us would rather lose a limb than share our food. Has the chubbiest cheeks.

Cora - the youngest daughter. The most stubborn and rude one. Could read the first chapter of a book and figure out the ending. On social media 24/7.

Sarah - Cora's daughter, and granddaughter of Abby and Nadia. Shares the same love of bands, tv shows, and hot actors as her mom. Was probably a therapist in her past life.

And the 'extras' as we like to call them include;
Lice - our long lost brother that caught us eating our lunch outside the bathroom stall. Instead of going to his friends, he stayed with us and was instantly part of the family. Probably has a bird's nest stuck in his hair.

Larry - the crackhead grandpa, and father of Abby. Cora met him on the end of year celebration that our school hosts every year. She then realized that he would fit in with the family and decided by herself that he would be the crack head grandpa that never shows up to family reunions. Never saw him since that day.

And lastly, some 3 year old Nadia met at a party. None of us besides Nadia have actually met her and Alice doesn't even know she exists

"ignore i said that." Cora quietly says.

"I'm trying," Nadia replies

"Anyways, back to the issue in hand," Cora says trying to change the topic.

" You mean the book about a love story that doesn't exist." Nadia folds her arms

" I'll call it....." Cora think for about 5 minutes before Nadia says, "we're just friends."

You know that thing they do in cartoons where a light bulb dings above your head when you get an idea.

That's exactly what could've happened if this was a cartoon.

She quickly type up ' just friends '

"There."

"you're kidding right."

"nope," Cora pops the 'p'
