The wonders

Chapter 1

"what if the universe is one big rat," Sarah asked us

Cora replied back almost instantly, "Nah, i think it's a chicken."

"Guys shut up, you're making my head hurt," Abby groaned. She never liked Cora and Sarah conversations because they were pointless and she didn't understand them

We were all at Nadia's house eating lasagna on the floor of what we like to call 'transition'. It was a passage way from the main part of the house to Nadia's room with glass surrounding the doors.

Maddie interrupted laughing and slapping her leg. All our eyes shot up at her but she didn't care.

"Look at this," she pointed to a chicken on Nadia's backyard.

We all pushed each other to get to the chicken clucking next to her bunny's cage.

We were obviously the best of friends, shoving eachother to the floor for a chicken.

"A WHOLE NEW WOOOOORLD!" we all shout-sang, Maddie and Abby were standing on the couch, Nadia was on a chair, Cora was singing into a lamp, and Sarah was just causally watching the movie.

We started watching aladin  a couple minutes ago and no one was actually paying attention until the songs came.

"rriiing" ugh. We were cut off by Nadia's phone beeping. She quickly answered before anyone had the chance to see who it was

"what do you want," she gritted angrily

"yeah well I'm kinda busy"

"with people i would kill for"

"no, you can't come, it's a girls night"

"you're not a girl"

"no, now if you don't mind I'm gonna go back to what i was doing before you interrupted," she hung up hastily

Cora grinned at Nadia because she already knew who that was. Jason Campbello.

"lover boy checking up on you?" Cora asked still grinning. She put an arm around Nadia's shoulder

"my brother is growing up so fast," Cora fake wiped a tear from her eye.

" I love you, but i hate you."

"nope, you just love me,"

"guuuuuyysssss," Sarah whined from her position on the couch turned the movie off

"WHAT."

Sarah sunk lower into the couch and muttered, "this is boring."

Cora joined her on the couch and sunk low too.

"Then you wanna talk about you and -" she got cut off by Sarah's hand on her mouth

"Don't even finish that sentance."

Cora's laugh was muffled under Sarah's hand so she bit it

Sarah let out a bunch of colorful choice words.

"LANGUAGE!" Abby yelled, she didn't tolerate curse words, like at all.

Once Alice said tf and Abby got Alice to cry as a punishment.

She's intense but she keeps us from going to jail so that's good. Except for the times when she got Cora into detention. That was her trouble maker phase in 6th and 7th grade.

"so umm, Matt told me that he liked Maddie."

Abby spat out her drink on the wall

Little did we know how much drama that caused.
