chapter 3

I did my hair on the way to the airport while Matthew drove silently listening to the radio. When we arrived at the airport finding a parking spot was a living hell.
([author's note]: before you guys say "hey! Watch your profanity Author-Chan! *^*" Sorry I just had to. Anyway back to the story.)

We worked our way into the large building on a hunt for Alfred. 20minutes passed and still no sign of him. "Where do you think he could be?" Matthew's gazed around the large room till his eyes met a sign that said 'food court.' "He's in there..." Matthew took my hand and we started working our way through the big crowd. His hand is big compared to mine...I could feel my face turn red as we finally get out of the wave of people. There sitting at a table eating a pile of hamburgers was Alfred. Matthew slowly approached him "hey America how hav-" before he could finish Alfred practically tackled Matthew giving him a big hug.
"dude its been so long! Oh my god!" Matthew's looked at me then quickly pushed him off. "Yeah missed you too..." Matthew's face was bright red. It's kinda cute that he's embarrassed.

"Aww <3" both boys looked at me after I said that. Alfred smirked "who's the hottie?" Matthew and I stood there looking confused as Alfred put an arm around me. "Wait a second... Aren't you [Y-n]?" "I-I well, y-yes." Alfred kept getting closer and closer to me making me a bit uncomfortable. That's until Matthew yanked my arm pulling me into a warm embrace. It happened so fast that I bumped my nose on his chest. Ow... Holding my nose I looked up at Matthews blushing face. "S-she doesn't like that...!" I to begin to blush as his arms wrapped tighter around me.

A devilish smile appeared on Alfreds face "is this.... Jealousy?" Matthew quickly let got of me putting both hands at his side. "N-no! S-she just looked uncomfortable that's all..." Alfred patted him on the back "it's ok dude!" I couldn't help but smile at how close they are even after all these years.

After that Alfred and Matthew caught up on a few things. Chatting about how there lives are going. Alfred kept talking about superheroes and other stuff relating to that. I just awkwardly followed behind like the third wheel. Feeling left out I watched my feet move while walking. They just kept going on and on. I know they haven't seen each other in a long time but I feel so left out I might cry. I accidentally bump into Matthew or Alfred. Or so I thought. As I look up to apologize I see a total stranger. That's weird... I could have sworn Matthew and Alfred where right in front of me.. I look at my surroundings but they where nowhere in sight. Oh no. I apologize to the staranger and started looking for Matthew and Alfred. "Where could they be?" Trying to find them I lose my footing and fall hard to the ground. Everyone staring and asking if I was ok made me even more anxious to find Matthew. "I-I'm lost. I can't find the person I came here with. I would call him but I forgot my cell phone at his house so..." The old lady I was talking took my had. "Please clam down." I hadn't released that I was on the verge of crying. "Alright... I'm so sorry..." As I apologize to the woman I herd a familiar voice call out to me. "[Y-n]!" It was Alfred. He ran up to me and helped me up. "Are you ok?!" Shortly after that Matthew came running. "[Y-n] I'm so sorry that we lost you!" I started laughing at how silly I was. "HAHAHA!" They both started laughing as well. "No... I'm sorry it was... My fault.." I managed to get the words out after laughing so hard. Matthew took my hand and gave it a squeeze "let's go home shall we?"

"WAIT! are you guys dating?!" Alfred sounded really surprised. Matthew and I spoke at the same time "N-no!" We both blushed unconsciously as we let go of each other's hands. "Sweet!" Matthew's expression was not a happy one "what?!"

"That means I got a chance!" Alfred had an evil look on his face. "Like hell I'll let you date her!" The volume in Matthews voice increased. "What gives you the right?!" Alfred was now yelling as well.

"Umm.... What's going on?" The two boys stopped yelling as I asked and we walked out to the car.
