I shook, holding my best friend as his breathing shook weakly and stopped, the sword still jutting out his back. His body grew limp, and the blue eyes I never knew he had dulled down, until they looked almost grey.
Tears streaked down my cheeks, and a whimper left my lips.
"Cry... Cry... Wake up, please...!" I cried out, not seeing the two rising forms that were Gonzales and the Barrel.
I continued to attempt waking him up, even pulling out the stained golden sword from his body.
I kissed him roughly, trying to make him breath again before I was pulled up by the Barrel who had a smirk.
"That's one gone... Only two left."
My eyes widened. "Don't you dare hurt Stephano!" He snarled, struggling.
"Oh, I'm not going to. You are."
The Barrel snapped his fingers, the golden male starting to wake up.
As Stephano stood, he picked up the bloody sword, looking ahead with dull eyes.
The Barrel released me, and Gonzales tossed the sword to me.
I caught it clumsily, cutting myself on the hand slightly.
I clenched my teeth, holding the silver sword in front of me while my blood dripped onto the handle.
Stephano rushed towards me, and I barely managed to block his blow without being knocked over, trembling.
"Stephano! Stop this, please!"
He said nothing as he cut my arm. I screamed and swore. "Hellvete!" I blocked his next attack, and gulped, returning the favor of causing harm. I sliced his leg, and he fell onto one, groaning softly.
I walked closer, holding the sword to his throat. "It's over. I win."
"Not until you end me, PewDie." Stephano replied coldly.
My eyes widened. "No... You know I won't, Stephano! I never leave you behind unless I'm forced to!" I yelled, my voice growing.
He lowered his head and smirked wide, standing and slicing across my chest while my guard was down.
"That was pathetic, PewDie." He growled.
My eyes widened, and time seemed to slow down as I collapsed, my chest bleeding.
He smirked once more, then dropped the sword and held his head.
"P-PewDie... You idiot... Why'd you let me...?"
I smiled weakly.
"You're my friend, Stephano... And I never hurt my friends.." I closed my eyes, hearing him go after his brother and the Barrel by their distant cries.
I started to drift off, into the darkness.
"You're pathetic, Pewds." A voice almost exactly like Cry's said.
"Cry...?"
"Close, sir. Open your eyes."
I did so, a male almost exactly like him but with glowing blue marks all over the mask and under it where the skin stuck out standing above me. His smirk was wide, and his clothes looked bloody and torn.
"Find the exit, sir. In an hour, you and I will be trapped here for eternity."
My eyes widened. "No.... Cry...!" I got up, about to hug him.
"Oh hoho~ Sorry, but I'm not Cry. Well, not fully at least~ My name is Virus Cry!" His smirk widened more if it could.
I stared at him. "But how is it possible?!"
"He sacrificed himself as part of our deal."
"Deal?"
"Hmm~ You'll learn once you get out. That is, if you do~"
