"SPENCER!" My best friend Emily yells as I open my eyes slowly. "Bitch you slept until 1:30." She says as she shakes me. I open my eyes squinting up. She's standing beside my bed with her hands on her hips.

"God what do you want." I say with a croaky voice. Still squinting from the sun in my eyes.

"Get your ass up!" She says throwing her shoes off and climbing on my bed beside me. "Where's your parents?" She asks sitting down her purse.

"I have no idea." I say wiping my eyes. "Probably house shopping." I sit up and stretch my arms out.

She nods and and kicks her feet up. "So have you talked to Josh lately?" She asks wiggling her eyebrows as if I had a crush on him.

"No." I say. "I don't plan on it either." I say looking at her angered. "He's kinda a dick." I say getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom door on the other side of the room.

"But it seems like he likes you Spence." She says still laying on my bed and watching tv. She pulls up her phone as I walk into the bathroom.

I look in the mirror at my hair. There are little flyaway hairs everywhere. I reach for the basket on the back of the sink and take out the ponytail I had. I stroke my hair with the brush taking out the tangles. The blonde hairs lay down.

"Your phone just went off!" Emily yells from the other room. She walks in the bathroom and hands me my phone I open the phone to see a message from my brother Davin.

Davin: moms gonna be gone all night and I'm having Bridgette over so I recommend finding somewhere to go.
Me: ugh why can't u just go to her house
Davin: cause her parents don't like me and her messing around at her house and you're not gonna be a cock block so find somewhere
Me: fine you asshole

I put my phone down and roll my eyes. "Davin has to be such a whore." I say in annoyance. She laughs and I put my brush back in the basket and walk out to get clothes on for the day. I pick a black spaghetti strap tank top and a white cardigan. And I have my ripped bleached blue jeans on. I look over as Emily is digging in my drawer.

"Ew what the hell spence." She says as she holds up a little foil package. "She throws it back in and looks at me in disgust.

I laugh and shake my head. "It's just incase I ever get a decent boyfriend." I say still laughing. I grab my shoulder bag and put my phone and keys in the bag.

"Where are we going?" Emily asks confused. She grabs her shoes and purse and stands at my doorway.

"Shopping." I reply. "I'm gonna take advantage of my parents not being home to tell me I can't go spend my money." I say laughing.

We both walk out her shutting my bedroom door behind me and we walk down the stairs so see Davin and Bridgette sucking each other's faces off.

"Get a room." I say as me and Emily walk to the door. He flips us off and walks up the steps with her hand in his. I roll my eyes in disgust as me and Emily walk out the door. We get in my car and start driving.

I'm sorry it's short it's the first chapter and I'm hoping people like this. I got the idea off of Brothers Best Friend so thanks to stylescloud for these ideas and I think your story was great and I can't wait for Where We Land <33 so I hope you enjoyed this and this might be a little similar to BBF and I'm sorry if I use some things kinda like that.
