Look, I know being a demigod might seem fun. It might even seem adventurous to you. But let me give you some advice: You can dream about being a demigod, but don't become one for real.
I mean, seriously. Being a demigod might seem fun, but it's dangerous. You could get yourself killed. Better off being a mortal than a half-blood.
Want proof? You could ask the whole camp whether they would like to be mortal or a demigod and I bet more than half of them would say mortal.
Then there's my other proof. This story. It's the story of, well, me last summer. I mean, what better way to convince people not to become demigods than to tell a story? Everyone likes stories, after all.
Anyways, I'm Nico di Angelo, son of Hades.
Is my life troublesome?
Yeah, you could say that.
I could have my friend build a time-machine and we could travel to the past just to see it. But I'd rather not. That "friend" of mine, who's a certain son of Hephaestus, is lost somewhere.
Long story.
Don't ask.
Besides, you won't want to look into my past. It's boring. What could be more boring than watching someone running away from camp, being manipulated by a ghost, and captured by giants?
Ok, so maybe it does sound exciting.... But definitely not when you're in those situations! Especially if the situations happen in a place where no god can help you...

And.....here's the first chapter! How is it? I tried to make it sound a bit like Rick Riordan's writing.
Did I succeed? :D
Edit: Sorry for publishing this again! I was playing around on Wattpad and accidentally unpublished the story. Whoops!
