Play video for the piano song she plays

My fingers glinde over the piano keys, making beautifful notes to an even more beautiful song. The notes float throw the room. The power and the emotion felt from anyone who stopped to listen. I was lost deeply in the music that I didn’t even realize I had an audience.                                  As I finish the song, I look up to see my mother smiling grandly. She still wore her leather armor and had fading tattoos over her soft pale skin. Her long brown hair pulled back into a high pony tall, giving you a full view of her rich dark chocolate eyes.

“That was beautiful hun.” She compliments.

I get up and rush over to hug her. Her wrap arms embrace me. The sweet scent of sweat and strength told me she was home. It had been a month of me being here with only my mentor James and are servant Mica. “Where’s Dad?” I question, looking up into her eyes.

“In the weapons room, cleaning up.” She states.

I nod, knowing my father wanted to be prepared for anything and had to clean up all the weapons they had brought with them on their mission. The comfort of knowing he was In the same building as me, safe and sound, was much better than anything in the world. Knowing the people you care about most were safe.

I smile at my mother and walk back over to the grand piano.  “What song were you playing?” she asks me.

“My Immortal, it’s one of my favourites to play.” I state.

“Who though you this song?” She questioned, walking over to stand beside the piano.

“Mica, she’s though me every night after supper.” I tell her as I start to play it again.

As I play again I watch her face, her eyes closed as she feels the song. Her hand on the piano, feeling the vibration from each press of a key.  She was now as lost as I had been in the song. I smile as I put even more strength into the notes. My father then walks in, he was still was in his gear like my mother. He smiles at me and walks up behind my mother.  The song ends as he wraps his arms around my mothers waist. She doesn’t jump at his touch, but turns around and gives him a peek on the lips.

There was so much love in there smiles and the tinkles of their eyes, that  the only thing that could change that look was when they hear a sicking scream come from the front doors. There faces turned into horror. My father wips around and pulls out a clear blade.  As he races out the room he mouths I Love You to me and my mother.

“Ellie,” My mother turns to me. “Go into the portal. Think of a place with a lot of people. Image it. Picture you somewhere there. Maybe in a park, a subway. You must go!”

“What? Mum, I can’t leave you. Whatever that was could be anything! Doesn’t mean it’s a demon.” I tell her.

My mother doesn’t answer me back but my father’s yelling does, “It’s several demons! May, come help!!”

Tears fill my eyes, and dripple down my face. I was not ready to leave my parents. A 14 year old girl by herself in some faraway city I had to think of? I wouldn’t even know if they would or could survive? “Ellie, go to New York.” My mother demands.

I nod and race to the portal across the room. My mother rushes out the room in a panic. I pull the doors open and reveal an almost mirror like wall. It the reflection though, I didn’t just see me. There was a large ugly demon beside me. Teeth as long as my middle finger. It almost looked as if it smiled at me. I could hear screams, from a distance. I gasp in a breath of air as I close my eyes and image New York. Cars everywhere, tall buildings, subways, loads of people and a big park. I rush forward hoping the demon wouldn’t decide right then to eat me. As I ran, I could hear something being throwed in the air and heading in my direction.

A pricing pain hits the back of my neck; I cry out in pain but keep running. New York, New York, New York I chanted to myself.  I heard the growl of the demon, it grew closer and closer. But it was too slow. I hit the portal.

I strong wind hits me as I fall. All I could hear were my screams. I couldn’t open my eyes, the fear of watching myself come closer and closer to the ground would it’s self-make me faint. The wind stops as my body hits something hard. I open my eyes. I found myself in the middle of a park, laying on a cement sidewalk caked with old gum. I look up to see where I came from, to only see something that horrified me. That demon was falling from the sky.

I try to roll over, but the pain in my neck had spread and I was almost paralyzed. I try so hard to move but end up yelling out in pain. I start to not just worry about the demon falling on me but what people would see. I groan, why didn’t I always have a steele on me?

I run my hands in my jeans just to make sure if I had one. I was about to give up, when I found a small pen like object in the front left pocket. I grip it in my left hand and draw two fast rune. A healing one, which didn’t work I had demon poison in me, and the second one was a rune to hide me from the mudanes.

The demon was still falling, but was only 20 feet away from hitting me. Coming in fast, the demon landing right beside me with a huge thunk. It starts to try to attack me but I jap it with my steele hoping I could draw a mess on it and he would die.

It wasn’t working, it keep on biting me. Over and over again. The deadly poisons rushing throw my veins. I scream knowing nobody could hear me. I yell so loud that my ears pop and my throat hurts. I lay there in a puddle of my own blood and poisons. The pain was bearable compared to what the demon did next. He bit down on my legs, crushing both of them. He them grasps my middle section in his mouth and crushes my ribs. My screams are cut short as I could hardly breathe anymore.

My world turns dark so fast that I was happy the pain had ended.
