"Nicholas,I think we should break up.."I said,it hurt me to say it but it had to be done.

"What why ?"Nicholas asked."Where is this coming from ?"

It irked me that he seem to always forget how he treated me.

"You forget what you have done in the past ? " I demanded."You punched my friend Kyle when you thought he was flirting with me !"

"He was ! How can you not see that ? "He shouted."He put you up to this, didn't he ?"

Nicholas not only punched guys he thought were flirting with me,he would put me in a chokehold when he thought I was lying.

'Don't you dare lie to me Mel. I can see it in your eyes.'He'd said.

I couldn't let him hurt me anymore,I had the bruises on my neck to prove it.

"No Nicholas,I made this choice on my own. We're done. "I said,grabbing the bag I packed to leave.

"You can't leave !"Nicholas said,grabbing my arm."I won't let you."

I glared at him and tried to tug out of his grip but he didn't let go.

"Let go of me or I'll call the cops."I warned,he slowly let go of my arm.

"Your going to regret this."He said with a cold stare. At first I felt bad but now that angry Nicholas was back. I wasn't.

"Goodbye Nicholas."I said and I rushed out of his apartment.

That was over 2 years ago and I hadn't heard from him since,until now. I wish I had never met him.
