Juli finally made it to her destination. She was pissed. She knocked on the door of Heathers house. Heather opened the door. Her eyeliner smudged at the ends of her eyelids, making them look droopier than usual. Heather noticed the tears and immeditly opened her arms. "I told you he was bad news." Juli bursted into loud crying. Her face contorted, saliva dripping from her open mouth. Heather brought her to the couch and held her rocking her back and forth. "I didn't have anyone else," Juli stopped to wipe her snot and tears on her sleeve, "youre my bestfriend. I cant fathom you not being here for me." Heather gave a soft smile and stood up. "Let's go get some coffee and discuss anything you want. But first, clean yourself up Juliette youre a mess." Juli gave a small laugh and stood up too. "Youre right."

Juli came out of the bathroom with her hair in a messy bun and her makeup wiped off. She followed Heather to her old Pontiac and got in the passenger seat. The drive there they didnt speak. They didnt need too. Heather just knew exactly what was wrong with Juli at all times. They've known eachother since 4th grade, been bestfriends even. Now they were adults. Lost, scared adults. But together they had somehow found their way.

They arrived at the coffee shop and stepped out. Juli's head ached. She just wanted some coffee. They ordered and sat down. Juli swirled her frappachino around and frowned. Her friend stared and gave a soft sigh, the corners of her mouth slightly raising. Juli looked out the window mesmerized by the leaves falling. The coffee shop was always busy, it was a small local one, with soft pale beige walls, a staircase that went to a room where a tax agency worked, and various creme coloured loveseats for college students to study on. She didnt look up from her coffee until she felt a small tap on her shoulder. She looked up slowly to see a tall, slim, spanish boy with a bit of scruff and very handsome features. His long brown hair pushed to the side of his face, looking like he had just got of bed. He was wearing a dark forest green shirt with a pale blue jean jacket over it. He fiddled with his hands as he finally spoke. "Uhm.. Hello. Im Manu." His spanish accent strong and vivid. "I moved here from Madrid, Spain. I was wondering if you ladies knew where the closest music shop is?" Juli stared mesmerized by this strange man in front of her. "Uhm. I can walk you there if you like. Its just a couple blocks away." He looked hesitant then spoke. "Oh no mam if you give me directions I can find it myself. I didnt mean to bother you." Heather smiled. "You just turn left on 7th then continue to walk until you see Benny's Music. Then you found it." He nodded. "Gracias. Err uhm. Thank you." He walked away. "He was cute." Heather smirked. "I could practically see you drooling over him Heather. I dont need this right now. If you havent fucking noticed im in a damn crisis." Heather frowned. "Sorry."
