"I think I have the perfect thing for you in the back..." the small crinkled old lady said before slipping through the curtains and into the back part of the shop.
I wonder what she could be getting.. a spell book maybe? I have no clue.
"Ah here we are." She says sitting a brown cardboard box on the counter in front of me.
" A box... with holes in it?" I ask looking at the box, noticing the small holes.
I look back at the lady to see she's looking at me. She nodded towards the box, telling me to look in it.
I reach my hand to the box and open the top. I look in it to see a ... a cat? What? Why would she give me a cat?
" A cat?" I said with no emotion.
" He's a kitten and his name is Louis." She tells me.
"He's what you kids say nowadays...full of surprises." She says smirking at me. Leaving me standing there confused.
This is our new book. Our update schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Our first actually chapter will be posted Monday.
