Sep.21, 2016

Harry had been dreaming about this moment to happen since forever but when it did happen, it was nowhere near what he thought.

September 21st 2016, a day before Autumn starts, a day before Heather leaves EverGreen.

A day when Heather kissed Harry under the Oak tree.

She wasn't speaking much when she came but that was expected.

Unexpected was when she stood up from her place, walked towards Harry as he leaned against the tree. He quickly straightened his posture as he saw her coming.

She stared deep into his emerald green eyes, cupped his cheek that was turning red. Slowly she leaned into him. Her hands were shaking as was his, her mind was repeating the same sentence over and over, 'Don't do this... don't do this.'

But the sound of their hearts beating loud caused none of them to concentrate on anything than them. It felt like they were going to explode from the ecstasy of being able to do this.

Finally her lips touched his.

Slowly, inexorably.

It was soft and gentle and chaste and maybe there were no fireworks or sparks, but it was better than that – it was a wave of warmth that filled him up, spilling out from his heart and the warmth of Heather's lips on his and rushing to every corner of his body: the cracks in between his toes, the crooks of his elbows, the tips of his ears. Every inch of him was saturated with love.

For a moment they forgot all their worries, they forgot about what was going to happen next, they forgot about the fact Heather's going, they forgot about the world.

It was as if none of that mattered.

The kiss was a small yet warm. His shivering hands went to her waist; pulling her closer, trying to make the kiss deeper.

Finally, they pulled apart.

Harry couldn't understand why did she kiss him, was she trying to forget her sorrows and thought a kiss would help? Or did she feel something for Harry like how he felt for her?

He never got the chance to ask as she ran off, blinking in shock about what just happened.

Heather kissed Harry.
