Chaeyoung's POV

"Helloooo Earth to Chaeyoung."

A weak nudge on my side brought me back to my senses.

"Chae? are you alright brother?" Jungyeon unnie who was sitting beside me asked me worriedly. I looked at her in surprise, trying hard to comprehend what she just asked me.

"H-Huh?" I asked her.

She smiled at me and spoke. "I asked you if you're okay dongsaeng. You look so worried. See? you haven't even touched your food yet. Aren't you hungry?" Jungyeon unnie asked me as she slowly pointed at my plate which surely was still untouched.

I blinked my eyes a few times before I was able to respond.

"Eh? A-aniyo.. Mianhe hyung, I just don't feel like eating." I answered her weakly as I slowly drifted back to staring at my still untouched food.

"Araso. But still, try and eat at least half of your food okay? You'll need energy later." Jungyeon unnie told me as she went back to eating her own food.

Jungyeon unnie is the second oldest in our group next to Nayeon unnie. She acts as the appa of the group and my 'No Jam Hyung.' Yeah. You heard it right. Hyung. No Jam. I'll try to explain it later.

The sound of munching and the members' chatting was slowly drifting away from me as I played with my food. I stared at my food for a while until I felt that everybody was staring at me, almost melting me in the process. I looked at my group members for confirmation. Yup, they really were staring directly at me.

"W-Waeyo?" I blurted out.

"Uri Chaengie looks worried. Are you nervous because of the evaluation later?" Nayeon unnie asked me. "Don't worry you'll do great! You always do great Chaengie." She said as she showed me her warmest smile which makes her look like a squirtle.

Deym, why are my groupmates animal look-alikes? I swear people would think our dorm is a zoo when they see these guys. Well, technically, a squirtle is not an animal right? She, or he, is a pokemon. Right? Are pokemons animals though? Are they? Ugh, nevermind.

"A-aniyo" I answered her. Trying not to blush at her sudden compliment.

"Then why aren't you eating maknae?" Dahyun unnie then asked me while wiggling her eyebrows. "Is it because of your textmate?" She said as she wiggled her eyebrows faster, emphasizing the word 'textmate' for everyone to notice.

The fvck Dahyun unnie?!!

"Ooopps" she then said when I squinted my eyes on her.

The fvck?! Wahh Jinjja!

Why am I occupying the same room with these savages?!!!

I looked around and saw that all seven pairs of eyes were directly focused on me.

Shtt.

"Hohoho!! Spill!!!!" Momo unnie shouted suddenly, breaking the silence inside the dining room.

"Spill it! Spill it! Spill it!"

The members were now chanting all at once.

"SPIIIILLL!"

Ugh. I hate my life.

~~~~~
"I think that went well." Jihyo unnie told Nayeon unnie as we left the training room. The eight of us were soaking with our own sweat. Our evaluation just ended. Phew, that was really tiring. Not that I don't like evaluations, but why is it taking so long? I mean, we were training for so long now, it's just that, it's kind of making us start to doubt our talents. And I hate it. Especially when I see my groupmates cry and blame themselves for not being able to debut.
