Chapter 2:
After a long drive they finally made it to the carnival. As soon as everyone got out they paid for entrance and went their separate ways. They went in pairs or groups so they don’t get lost. In one big group was Luhan, Tao, Kris, xiumin, Roxy and mason. First they looked around at then mini games when they came across the game where you pay and get three balls and have to hit the tower of bottles down. Mason ran up to the stall that had the game and paid her money. She grabbed her first ball throwing it at the bottle instantly hitting them all down. The man passed her a small white wolf that she instantly passed to Roxy giving her a hug. Everyone had a go failing. Last to have a go was Luhan. He was aiming to get the big 1 metre tall, fluffy teddy bear. After he missed every shot Mason went back up to the game and threw her first shot missing. She threw again missing them. She turned around to see Luhan with a pout on his face looking real disappointed. She turned back around determined. She picked up her last ball throwing it knocking them all down. She pointed to the big teddy bear “that one please” the man went over grabbed the teddy bear off the hook and handed it to her. She turned to face Luhan and saw his face light up. She walked over to him and passed him the teddy bear. He made a sudden move a pulled her into a hug making them both blush. Someone cleared their throat making them pull away. Roxy had her arms crossed tapping her foot “I want to go on the one where you throw as many basketballs into the hoop as you can and win a prize” she demanded. “Ok” Mason and Roxy lead the way to the stall knowing exactly where it was. “Anyone wanna verse me” Roxy asked. Tao stood up looking pretty confident they both stood up and stood in an alley each. “ready, set, go” the machine cried they began shooting frantically Tao missing one every so often whilst Roxy got every single one in. the siren went off signalling the end of the game. The young guy running the stall walks up to Roxy and gets her attention “you got a high score on here meaning you get a prize and you get to choose which one” Roxy walks over to a purple long board with teal wheels picks it up and passes it to Mason “since I knew you needed a new long board and these are your favourite colours” Mason tackled Roxy to the ground in a hug. After a few moments Roxy got up and patted herself down whilst Mason continued to stay on the ground. Anyone else want to challenge me” Roxy enquired “Kris can get you easily he is a pro at basketball” xiumin spoke up. They paid again and Kris stood forward “ready, set, go” the machine cried. Once again they were frantically throwing balls. Both being accurate shots both were pressured to win. The siren went off signalling to stop. Roxy had beaten Kris by two shots and beat her high score “ok so you can choose another prize” The guy said she walked over to a small prank kit and sent an evil glance over to Mason telling her she has a new prank. “I’ll take this one” she said. Mason stood up “I challenge you” she shouted. “No offence but if Tao and I can’t beat her you can’t” Kris said. Mason sent him a cocky smirk paid and stood in front of the alley “ready, set, go” the machine called. They began throwing the basketballs. The siren went off telling them to stop. Everyone was shocked to see it was a draw between the two and a new high score. They both walked over to the prize area and picked out matching unicorn onesies. After that they walked around until they got to a huge rollercoaster. Since Luhan was afraid of heights (true fact) he didn’t want to go on and the others claimed they were going to stay with him to keep him company even though everyone knew it was because they were scared. Mason and Roxy paid for their tickets and lined up. When they got to the front of the line they hopped on the rollercoaster. The rollercoaster did flips, went upside down and went backwards. Once they got off they went to lie down on the grass. “Hey guys wanna go get some cotton candy” xiumin asked “when everything stops spinning I will” Roxy replied “sorry I don’t like cotton candy” Mason stated (true story I hate cotton candy) “How do you not like cotton candy it is literally like angel hair” Xiumin asked “It’s to sugary and synthetic and yucky” Mason said shrugging her shoulders. Once everything stopped spinning Mason and Roxy stood up and began to walk towards the food court area where the others were. When they got there they discovered the other 14 were there. They sat down at the group of tables pushed together. As there was only one seat left Roxy had to sit on Mason’s lap because Roxy had a cotton candy and mason had nothing thus their seating order. Kris leaned over to Mason “I got you ice cream since you don’t like cotton candy” he whispered in her ear. “Ah xie xie” she replied. Mason happily munched on her ice cream while everyone talked. After they ate, they walked well Mason skated over to the ice house. They all rented a pair of ice skates and headed to the rink. It was obvious who hadn’t really ice skated before as they kept falling. Everyone fell at least once except mason and Roxy. Having ice skated many a time they were both semi pros at ice skating. They skated over to a large group of the boys grabbed their hands and lead them around the rink. Once they got the hang of it Mason and Roxy went off on their own. Mason looked around to see Luhan on the ground after falling over again. She skated over to him and offered him a hand up. “Do ya want some help learning to ice skate” she asked. He just nodded looking a bit embarrassed. She grabbed his wrist “ok so you obviously know how to skate forward. The next step is to stop. Although not the proper thing to do, to stop I just bend my knees inwards facing together. Ok let’s try that” they started and stopped for a while until Luhan got it. “Ok so next if you feel you are going to fall over just crouch down and you should balance out. Once you feel balanced again just stand up and continue. And that’s basically all there is for now” she once again grabbed his wrist and skated around for a bit. Once Luhan felt a bit more comfortable he untangled himself from Mason’s grip, and skated over to kai. Roxy and Tao were skating together talking when they looked up they realised Mason was there so they both swerved and ended up toppling over each other landing one on top of the other. Mason grabbed her phone out of her pocket taking a quick picture and slipping it back in her pocket before they noticed. Sehun skated over” hey guys wanna go it’s getting quite dark and we haven’t had dinner yet” he proposed. Everyone agreed and left the rink to change into normal shoes. Once they returned their skates they headed out towards the parking lot and into their separate cars. On the way home they stopped at a small convenience store and bought some cheap ramen and some kimchi for dinner. They ate at their dinner during the short ride home. Once they got home they all showered and went to bed as they were tired
